We are truly sorry to hear that you are having difficulties in your relationship with your mom. It is important to remember the Fifth Commandment. Honor your father and your mother, as Yahweh your God commanded you. Your God is putting great emphasis on this commandment.
Your relationship with your mom is very important and it is God's will that this relationship should flourish based on love, understanding, and mutual respect. Remember what the Apostle Paul said about the family. Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with a promise. If you are not treating your mom with love and respect then expect that your relationship will be troubled. If you have done everything that you can to reconcile with her then continue to seek the Lord in prayer for guidance.
If you have not forgiven your mom for something or if you are holding onto some resentment, remember what the word of God says: For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as we can forgive others.
Let us pray together for you and your mom.
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking that You would heal and restore this relationship between mom and me. Help me to honor and respect my mom and to see her through Your eyes, Lord. Help me to forgive her as you have forgiven me. If there is anything in this relationship that is not aligned to your word help me to see it and correct it. By the love of Jesus Christ. Amen.
And finally, may the very God of peace sanctify you completely. May your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithfully He who calls you to do this will also do it for you.
