We are truly sorry to hear about the unexpected news regarding the little one growing in your womb. We will stand with you in prayer and trust God together for his healing and mercy.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is the ultimate healer and miracles worker. As it is written in Psalm 147:3
He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.
and in Matthew 19:26
With God all things are possible.
We encourage you to hold onto hope and trust in God's plan for this little one's life. God has a purpose and a plan for each of us, and he knitted this little one together in your womb. We pray that you will have peace and grace in receiving the news.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up this mother and the little one growing in her womb. Lord, you are the giver of life and the healer of our bodies. We pray for your healing touch to be upon this little one, and we ask that you would guide the doctors and provide wisdom to them. We think of the words of the Psalmist in Psalm 139:13-14:
For you formed my inmost being. You knitted me together in my mother's womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well.
Lord, we claim this promise for this little one, and we ask that you would be glorified in this situation. We pray for peace and comfort for this mother and her loved ones, and we ask that you would surround them with your love and support, IJN.
We notice that the original prayer did not include the name Jesus Christ, Jesus, Christ, or IJN. It is so important to remember that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. The Bible tells us in John 14:6
Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
And again in Acts 4:12 the apostle Peter confidently declared the only way to heaven is salvation by confessing Jesus Christ:
"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people by which we must be saved."
We applaud your faith and encourage you to seek Jesus' face and only call upon him in prayer.
In closing, please remember the words of Jesus in John 16:33
I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have trouble; but cheer up! I have overcome the world.
