We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you are facing within your family. It is commendable that you have shown forgiveness to your mother and taken responsibility for your sister, but it is important to ensure that you are not being manipulated or taken advantage of. Let us turn to the Word of God for guidance and comfort.
The Bible tells us, For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. We are to forgive as we have been forgiven and it is good that you are not holding your mothers trespasses against her. Be careful to observe all these words which I command you, that it may go well with you, and with your children after you, and that you may prolong your days on the earth, which Yahweh your God gives you, forever. It is good that you are caring for your sister, but remember that even God requires us to have boundaries and rest.
Concerning your feelings of being the black sheep and the division in your family, Jesus said, Do not think that I came to send peace on the earth. I did not come to send peace, but a sword. For I came to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. And a mans foes will be they of his own household.
It is wonderful that you are seeking God's will for your life and desiring a home where you can prosper and live for Him. Remember that God's thoughts are not our thoughts, and His timing is perfect. He may have you in this situation for a reason, but He also sees your hearts desires as we are told, Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is facing division and toxicity within her family. We pray that You would heal the brokenness in her family and bring unity and love among them. We ask that You would give her strength and wisdom as she cares for her sister, and that You would protect her from manipulation and taking on more than she can bear.
Father, we ask that You would guide her steps and provide for her needs according to Your riches in glory. If it is Your will, we pray that You would bless her with a home where she can prosper and live for You. We pray that You would surround her with Godly people who will support and encourage her in her walk with You.
We pray for her family members, that You would soften their hearts and help them to see her as You see her. We pray that You would bring peace and reconciliation to their family, and that they would come to know You as their Lord and Savior.
We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
It is important to note that it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. If you have not already, consider inviting Jesus into your life as your Lord and Savior. It is by believing in Him and following His ways that we are saved and have access to God for prayer.
Please know that you are not alone in your struggles, and that we are here to support and pray for you. Keep trusting in God and seeking His will for your life. He is faithful and will see you through this difficult time. Be encouraged and be at peace with God.
