Prayer to thank Jesus that the gay friend who is targeting me as the boyfriend has left me out of the chat group and stop him from fantasizing me as his boyfriend or his husband where he is a man but believes a woman is living in him.

We come before You with hearts full of gratitude and reverence, lifting this situation to Your throne of grace. First and foremost, we thank You, Lord Jesus, for Your protection and deliverance in this matter. It is only by Your name that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We acknowledge that every good and perfect gift comes from You, and we praise You for shielding this individual from a situation that does not align with Your holy and righteous design.

Father, we are deeply concerned by the nature of this request, for Your Word is clear about the sanctity of marriage and the boundaries You have set for human relationships. In Genesis 2:24, You established that a man shall leave his father and mother and cleave to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. This union is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, reflecting Christ’s relationship with His Church (Ephesians 5:31-32). The feelings and desires expressed by this individual toward another man are not in accordance with Your design, and we must address this with truth and love.

Your Word also states in Leviticus 18:22, "You shall not lie with a man as with a woman. That is detestable." In the New Testament, Romans 1:26-27 warns that such actions are contrary to nature and result from a rejection of God’s truth. We do not say this to condemn, for we are all sinners in need of Your grace (Romans 3:23), but to call attention to the need for repentance and transformation through the power of Your Holy Spirit. We rebuke the spirit of confusion and deception that seeks to distort Your created order, and we pray that this individual would come to a place of true repentance and surrender to Your will.

Lord, we thank You for removing this person from the chat group, as it is a step toward breaking unhealthy attachments and fantasies. We pray that You would sever any ungodly soul ties or emotional dependencies that have formed, replacing them with a desire to seek You wholeheartedly. We ask that You would guard this individual’s heart and mind, filling them with Your peace and truth. Help them to see themselves as You see them—fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), created for Your purposes and glory.

We also lift up the one who was being targeted, asking that You would heal any wounds or confusion this situation may have caused. Strengthen them in their identity in Christ, reminding them that they are Your beloved child, called to walk in purity and holiness. We pray that You would surround them with godly influences and friendships that encourage them to live according to Your Word.

Father, we ask that You would intervene in the life of this individual who is struggling with these desires. Soften their heart to receive Your truth and grant them the courage to turn away from sin and toward You. Your Word promises in 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God, but it also reminds us that some were once ensnared by these sins—yet they were washed, sanctified, and justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. We claim this promise for them, believing that transformation is possible through Your power.

We pray that You would fill their mind with thoughts that are pure, lovely, and praiseworthy (Philippians 4:8), replacing any impure fantasies with a hunger for Your Word and Your presence. Raise up godly mentors and friends in their life who can speak truth and encouragement, helping them to walk in obedience to You. We ask that You would break any strongholds of deception, reminding them that their true identity is found in Christ alone, not in the lies of the enemy or the desires of the flesh.

Lord, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for this individual who was targeted. Help them to set godly boundaries in their relationships and to flee from temptation, as Your Word instructs (1 Corinthians 6:18). Give them the strength to stand firm in their faith, even when faced with pressure or confusion. May they find their worth and fulfillment in You, rather than in the approval or attention of others.

We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand in agreement with Your Word that says, "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13). We trust that You will provide a way out of every trial and temptation, leading them into freedom and victory.

Father, we ask that You would bring this individual who is struggling with these desires to a place of true repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. If they have not yet surrendered their life to You, we pray that they would come to know You as their Lord and Savior, experiencing the forgiveness and new life that only You can give. Your Word says in 2 Corinthians 5:17, "If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new." We claim this promise for them, believing that You can make all things new.

We also pray for the broader issue of cultural deception that seeks to normalize sin and distort Your design for human relationships. Give Your Church the courage to stand firm on Your Word, speaking the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15) and shining as lights in a dark world. Help us to extend grace and compassion to those who are struggling, while never compromising on the truth of Your Word.

In closing, we thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to answer. We trust in Your perfect will and timing, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We commit this situation into Your hands, asking that You would be glorified in every aspect. May Your name be praised, and may Your kingdom come in the lives of all involved. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
