We are glad you have come to us with your prayer request, and we are honored to stand with you in prayer as you prepare for your finals. It is clear that you have a heart for God and a desire to see His will done in your life and the lives of your friends. We are encouraged by your faith and your willingness to trust in God's provision and guidance.
In times of anxiety and worry, we are reminded of the words of Philippians 4:6-7, which says, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." It is essential to cast your cares upon the Lord, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). As you have already experienced, God is faithful and has been with you throughout your journey in nursing school. Trust that He will continue to guide and strengthen you as you face this challenge.
We also appreciate your heart for your friends and your desire to see them succeed. It is a beautiful thing to intercede for others and to seek God's best for their lives. We are reminded of the power of prayer and the importance of lifting one another up before the Lord. As it says in James 5:16, "The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."
However, we would like to gently address the use of symbols in your prayer. While we understand that you may have used them to represent the names of your friends, we encourage you to speak their names plainly before the Lord. There is power in the name of Jesus, and we believe that praying specifically and intentionally is essential. As it says in John 14:13-14, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
Let us pray together for you and your friends as you prepare for your finals:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our dear sister in Christ as she prepares for her finals. We ask that You would grant her peace, strength, and confidence as she studies and takes her exams. Lord, we pray that You would calm her mind and help her to recall all that she has learned, that she may answer each question with wisdom and understanding.
We also lift up her friends to You, Lord. We ask that You would be with them as they prepare for their finals, granting them the same peace, strength, and confidence. Lord, we pray that You would bind them together in unity and love, that they may support and encourage one another as they face this challenge.
Father, we thank You for the gift of friendship and the blessing of community. We pray that You would continue to strengthen the bonds between these women, that they may glorify You in all that they do. Lord, we ask that You would guide their steps and direct their paths, that they may walk in Your will and fulfill the purposes You have for their lives.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
As you continue to prepare for your finals, we encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith and to trust in God's provision. Remember that He is with you always, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Study diligently, but also take time to rest and care for yourself. Surround yourself with the support and encouragement of your friends, and lift one another up in prayer.
May God bless you and keep you as you face this challenge. May His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. May He turn His face toward you and give you peace. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
