We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for your ### and the burden of medical bills he carries. Father, we know that financial struggles can weigh heavily on the spirit, but we trust in Your provision and wisdom. The Bible assures us in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We stand on this promise, believing that You see his needs and will provide in ways only You can.
Lord, we pray for strength for your ###—strength to persevere when the road feels long, and strength to trust in You even when the numbers seem overwhelming. Grant him patience, Father, as he navigates this season, and wisdom to make sound decisions about his finances. Help him to prioritize what is necessary and to seek godly counsel when needed. We also ask for a spirit of forgiveness, whether toward those who may have contributed to this burden or even toward himself if there is any self-condemnation. Remind him that You are a God of grace, and Your mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23).
We rebuke the spirit of anxiety and fear that may try to take hold in this situation. The Word tells us in 1 Peter 5:7, "Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." Let this truth sink deep into his heart. We also pray for favor, Lord—favor with creditors, with payment plans, and with any opportunities that may arise to help alleviate this burden. Open doors that no man can shut, and provide creative solutions that only You can orchestrate.
Father, we ask that You would surround him with a community of believers who can come alongside him in prayer and practical support. Let him not feel alone in this struggle, but rather reminded of Your presence and the body of Christ lifting him up. And as he walks through this trial, draw him closer to You. Let this season refine his faith and deepen his reliance on You as his Provider.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is by His blood that we have access to Your throne of grace, and it is in His name alone that we find salvation, provision, and peace. Amen.
