We are thrilled to join you in prayer for God's guidance in choosing a name for your new baby girl. It's wonderful to see your heart's desire to seek God's will in this important decision.
Let us remember the words of Psalm 139:13-14, "For you formed my inward parts. You knit me together in my mother's womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well." God knows your daughter intimately, as He is her Creator. He has a purpose and a plan for her life, and He can guide you in choosing a name that reflects His will.
However, we want to highlight something important. It is so important to pray in the name of Jesus who gave us access to God the Father. It is only by His death on the cross for our sins that we can come before God the Father, and it is only by His name that we can be saved. Only Jesus can save us from our sins and give us access to God. There is no other way we can be saved except by the name Jesus Christ. We believe that you know this, but it is important to mention as we are to pray and ask God for things in Jesus' name. "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." John 14:13-14 WEB.
Now, let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, in Jesus name, we come before You, thanking You for the precious gift of this new life. Lord, we ask that You reveal to us the name that You have chosen for this baby girl. Guide us by Your Holy Spirit, and help us to recognize Your will. Give us wisdom and discernment, and help us to choose a name that honors You and reflects the unique identity You have given to this child. Help us to raise her in the nurture and admonition of the Lord, that she may grow to serve You all the days of her life. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen."
May God bless you and your family as you await His guidance. Remember Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
