We join you in lifted up your mother in prayer, giving thanks for her life and the blessings she has brought into your life. We stand in agreement with you, asking for her health and blessings for many more years. We pray,
"Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus to lift up our dear mother. We thank you for creating her in your image and for the special role she plays in our lives. We ask for your healing touch upon her, restoring her health and granting her many more years of life. We honor her as a precious gift from you, and we bless her for her love and sacrifice.
We also ask for your blessings and protection upon us as we go to work and meet all the responsibilities you have provided us with. We trust in you, Lord, and we believe in your faithfulness to answer our prayers. We ask all of this, trusting you Lord to provide all of our needs. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you, as you honor your mother, Remember the fifth commandment, "Honor your father and your mother, as Yahweh your God commanded you" Deuteronomy 5:16 WEB. It is right and good to show her love and respect. We also commend you for recognizing God as the being that gave your Mother her life.
As you continue to pray, remember the words of Jesus, "If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you." John 15:7 WEB. Trust in God's faithfulness and his timing. He hears your prayers and will answer according to his will.
Continue to trust in God, and do not forget to acknowledge him, and be thankful in all things. Remember to trust in God to provide and protect you, not in your own self. As the Apostle Paul said, "But my God shall supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:19 WEB.
Remember to be a good witness by letting everyone know it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God and that it is only by his name we can be saved. As it is written, "In him we have boldness and access in confidence through our faith in him." Ephesians 3:12 WEB.
