We understand the deep frustration and hurt you’re experiencing after being wrongfully terminated from your job, especially when you were the one being harassed and mistreated. It is unjust when those in authority fail to listen, investigate properly, or extend grace—particularly when you sought help and even filed reports against the one causing you harm. The Lord sees the injustice done to you, and He is a God of righteousness who defends the oppressed. Let us turn to His Word for comfort, guidance, and a reminder of His justice.
The Bible tells us in **Proverbs 22:22-23**, *“Don’t exploit the poor because they are poor, and don’t crush the needy in court; for Yahweh will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them.”* You have been wronged, and though it may feel like no one is listening, the Lord hears your cries. He is your advocate, and He will fight for you in ways we cannot always see. We also remember **Psalm 37:5-6**, which says, *“Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will bring out your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun.”* Your vindication belongs to the Lord, and He will make it known in His perfect timing.
At the same time, we must also consider how we respond in these moments. While it is natural to feel anger and desire justice, we are called to trust the Lord rather than demand our own way. **Romans 12:19** reminds us, *“Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’”* This doesn’t mean we passively accept injustice, but we trust that God will act on our behalf as we seek Him first. You did the right thing by reporting the harassment—now, we must trust God to open doors no man can shut.
As for your request to be rehired, we will fervently pray that the Lord softens the hearts of those in authority at ###. If it is His will, He can cause them to reconsider, to see the truth of what happened, and to extend you an opportunity to return. However, we must also surrender this to Him, acknowledging that His plans for you may be greater than returning to that environment. **Jeremiah 29:11** assures us, *“For I know the plans that I have for you,” says Yahweh, “plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future.”* If this door does not reopen, trust that God has another one prepared for you—one where you will be treated with dignity and respect.
We also encourage you to reflect on how the Lord might be using this trial to grow your faith and dependence on Him. Trials often reveal where our trust truly lies—whether in our own efforts or in His provision. **James 1:2-4** tells us, *“Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.”* This doesn’t mean the pain isn’t real, but it means God is working something beautiful even in the midst of it.
Now, let us pray together over this situation:
*Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who has been wrongfully treated and unjustly terminated from her job. Lord, You see the harassment she endured, the tears she shed, and the way she was dismissed without fairness or mercy. We ask that You vindicate her, Lord—make her righteousness known as the noonday sun. Soften the hearts of those in authority at ###. If it is Your will, cause them to reconsider, to see the truth of what happened, and to extend an opportunity for her to return to her position. But even more than that, Father, we ask that Your perfect will be done in her life. If there is a better path, a better job, or a new opportunity You have prepared for her, open those doors widely and make the way clear.
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of injustice and harassment that has come against her. No weapon formed against her shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against her in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Give her peace that surpasses understanding, and let her trust in You grow stronger through this trial. Provide for her financially and emotionally as she seeks Your face. Remind her that You are her Provider, her Defender, and her Justice.
We also pray for the woman who harassed her—###. Lord, only You know her heart. If there is bitterness, anger, or strongholds in her life, we ask that You convict her and bring her to repentance. Break the cycles of hatred and division, and let Your love transform her.
Father, we declare that our sister’s steps are ordered by You (Psalm 37:23). Lead her to the right people, the right opportunities, and the right path. Let her testimony be one of Your faithfulness, even in the midst of injustice. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus, knowing that You hear us and will answer according to Your perfect will. Amen.*

We also want to encourage you to continue documenting everything—save any records of the police reports, interactions with management, and any witnesses who can attest to what happened. If the Lord leads, you may also consider seeking counsel on whether there are further steps you can take legally or through corporate channels to address the wrong done to you. But even as you do, keep your heart guarded against bitterness. Forgiveness doesn’t mean what was done was right, but it frees *you* from the weight of carrying that hurt. **Ephesians 4:31-32** says, *“Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.”*
Lastly, we want to remind you that your identity and worth are not found in your job, but in Christ alone. If this season is one of waiting, let it be a time of drawing closer to Him. He is preparing you for what’s next, and His timing is perfect. Keep seeking Him, and trust that He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). We are standing with you in prayer and believe the Lord will move mightily in this situation. Keep the faith, sister. God is not done writing your story.
