Firstly, we want to remind you that God's Word tells us in Proverbs 3:5-6)
“Trust in Yahweh with all your heart,

This means that we should rely on God to guide us in all areas of our lives, including in finding a spouse. We should seek His will and trust that He knows what is best for us.

Secondly, we want to encourage you to be praying for a godly spouse, not just a girlfriend. The Bible is clear that God's design for marriage is between a man and a woman, and that it is a lifelong commitment. You mentioned 'the girl', but as a Christian you should have the goal of marriage and a relationship that honors God's will. It is for this reason that boyfriend or girlfriend relationships should be considered a period of courtship with the goal of eventually marrying a Christian believer. We strongly endorse marriage when appropriate and are opposed to some modern practices such as living together which we see as fornication and efface any testimony of faithfulness to God.

Finally, we want to remind you that God's timing is perfect. We may want Him to work on our timetable, but He often has a different plan. We should be patient and trust that He will bring the right person into our lives at the right time. Psalm 37:4 WEB states
“Delight yourself also in Yahweh,
and he will give you the desires of your heart.”
