We understand that you are seeking a suitable home and have a tight deadline. We appreciate that you ended your request with in Jesus name amen. This is the way that we ought to pray. Jesus says that whatever we ask in His name, it will be given to us. We are to ask in His name so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. Yes, whatever we ask in His name, He will give it to us.
First, let's remember that God cares about every detail of our lives, including our housing needs. His Word says, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight, Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.
As you search for a new home, pray that God would guide your steps and open the right doors. Remember, it is important to be content in whatever situation we find ourselves. Let the peace of God rule in your heart, and be thankful, Colossians 3:15 WEB.
Regarding your concern about the Council offering unsuitable accommodations, we pray that God would direct their decisions. Let's pray for wisdom for those in authority.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother/sister who is seeking a new home. Guide them to the perfect place that You have prepared for them. Give them discernment and wisdom in their search. Direct the Council's decisions, Lord, and help our sibling in Christ to trust in Your timing and provision. Help them not to act out of desperation or fear, but to rest in Your perfect will. We praise You for the home that You will provide in Jesus' name.
Lastly, be encouraged by the words of Jesus, Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they? Matthew 6:25-26 WEB. Trust in Him, and He will provide.
As for making yourself intentionally homeless, we strongly advise against this. God calls us to be wise and responsible. We are not to force situations by our own hands, but rather to be content in whatever situation we find ourselves in.
