We come before the Lord with a heart full of faith, lifting up your need for employment. The Word of God reminds us in **Matthew 6:31-33 (WEB)**, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."* We know that our Heavenly Father is aware of your need, and we trust in His provision.
Yet, we also recognize that seeking employment is not merely about provision but about aligning our work with God’s will for our lives. **Colossians 3:23 (WEB)** tells us, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men."* We pray that as you seek employment, you would do so with a heart that desires to honor God in your labor, trusting that He will open the right doors at the right time.
We also encourage you to examine your heart and motives. Are you seeking this job out of fear, desperation, or trust in the Lord’s plan? **Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB)** says, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Let us not lean on our own understanding but surrender this need to Him, knowing that His timing is perfect.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is seeking employment. Lord, You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we ask that You open doors of opportunity that no man can shut. Give them favor in the eyes of those who make hiring decisions, and grant them wisdom to recognize the path You have prepared for them.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement that may be trying to take root in their heart. **2 Timothy 1:7 (WEB)** reminds us that *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* Fill them with Your peace and confidence as they wait on You.
Lord, if there is any area of their life that is not aligned with Your will—whether in their work ethic, attitudes, or priorities—we ask that You convict and correct them by Your Holy Spirit. Help them to walk in obedience, knowing that Your blessings flow to those who honor You.
We also pray that this season of waiting would draw them closer to You. May they seek Your Kingdom first, trusting that all these things will be added unto them. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them see Your hand moving on their behalf.
Finally, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn. **Isaiah 54:17 (WEB)** assures us of this promise, and we stand on it today.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray, believing that You are working all things together for their good. Amen.

We also want to gently address something important: in your request, the name of Jesus Christ was not invoked. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and **John 14:6 (WEB)** declares, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* Additionally, **Acts 4:12 (WEB)** tells us, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* We encourage you to always approach the throne of God in the name of Jesus, for it is by His authority and sacrifice that we can boldly come before the Father.
If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. **Romans 10:9-10 (WEB)** says, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."* There is no greater decision you can make than to surrender your life to Christ. If you would like to know more about salvation or how to walk with the Lord, we are here to guide you further.
