Prayer to cease drought

We join you in your fervent prayer for rain to ease the drought in the northern region. Thank you for praying in Jesus' name. Let's continue to petition God together for this pressing need.
Let us remember God's promise in 2 Chronicles 7:13-14 WEB: "If I shut up the sky so that there is no rain, or if I command the locust to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people; if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
Almighty Father, we come before You, humbling ourselves and seeking Your face on behalf of the northern region. We repent for any sins that may have contributed to this drought. We ask You to send heavy rains to reverse the drought and refresh the land. We trust in Your power and goodness, Lord. We pray that You will help us all to be good stewards of the resources You provide.
Let us encourage one another. God is sovereign over nature, as Psalm 147:8 WEB reminds us: "He covers the sky with clouds, and prepares rain for the earth; and makes the hills green with grass."
Together, let us continually pray for God's mercy and intervention, trusting that He cares for us and will provide what we need.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
