We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of faith, lifting up this earnest plea for healing and wholeness. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and knows every part of our being. Your Word declares in Psalm 147:3, *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."* We stand on this promise, believing that You are able to restore every area of life—heart, mind, body, spirit, and soul.
Lord, we ask that You would touch this dear one with Your healing hand. Where there is pain, bring comfort. Where there is brokenness, bring restoration. Where there is confusion, bring clarity. Where there is weariness, bring strength. Your Word assures us in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says the Lord.* We trust in Your faithfulness to do just that.
We also lift up the desire for true love, recognizing that the deepest love we can ever know is found in You, Lord Jesus. You loved us so much that You laid down Your life for us, and Your love is the perfect example of what love should be. First John 4:19 reminds us, *"We love Him, because He first loved us."* Before seeking love from another person, we must first rest in the love that comes from You, for it is only when we are complete in You that we can love others in a way that honors You.
Father, if this request for love is about finding a spouse, we pray that You would prepare this heart to seek a godly marriage that reflects Christ’s love for the Church. Ephesians 5:25 tells husbands to love their wives as Christ loved the Church, and wives are called to respect their husbands. Marriage is a sacred covenant, and we ask that You would lead this one to a spouse who shares their faith, values, and commitment to You. Guard their heart from impatience or compromise, and help them to wait on Your perfect timing.
If there are any areas of this request that do not align with Your will—whether in thought, action, or desire—we ask that You would reveal them and bring conviction through Your Holy Spirit. Help this one to walk in purity, holiness, and obedience to Your Word, for Your ways are higher than our ways, and Your thoughts are higher than our thoughts.
We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, healing is already ours (Isaiah 53:5). We declare that God’s love is poured out into our hearts by the Holy Spirit (Romans 5:5). We declare that this one is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that God’s plans for them are for good and not for harm, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
