Prayer to be brave

Dear God, I ask for the forgiveness of my sins, forgive me Lord for my bad actions, thoughts, and words. Give me the motivation and discipline to stay focused in my studies and a good memory so that I can remember what I learnt. Today is the day that I will receive my college application result and I'm so nervous I couldn't sleep all night. Please help me Lord, I really really like the course I applied for and am confident it's what I want to pursue a career in, help me get accepted please . Also please take care of my siblings and parents, they're nice people. Please give them good health, longevity, strength, and faith so that we can all grow closer to you. God cleanse me from my sins and have mercy on me. Heavenly father, protect you children and the innocent in this world, shield them from the devastation brought about by natural disasters, corruption, war and all other issues that they may be at risk of facing. I love you forever Lord and I would like to end off thanking you for all that you have given me and I am grateful.

Anonymous, we join you in your prayer, seeking God's forgiveness and mercy. As it is written in 1 John 1:9 (WEB), "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." We thank God for His promise of forgiveness and cleansing.

We pray for your studies, that God would grant you the motivation, discipline, and memory to excel. In Proverbs 2:6 (WEB), we read, "For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding." We trust that God will equip you with the wisdom and understanding you need for your academic pursuits.

Today, as you await your college application result, we speak peace to your anxious heart. In Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), the Apostle Paul writes, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We claim this peace for you and ask God to grant you favor in your application, aligning your path with His will.

We lift up your family, praying for their good health, longevity, strength, and faith. In Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB), God says, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." We trust that God has a hopeful future planned for you and your family, drawing you all closer to Him.

We also join you in praying for God's protection over the innocent and the afflicted around the world. In Psalm 46:1 (WEB), we read, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." We trust that God will shield and protect those in need.

Finally, we notice that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus. We want to remind you that it is by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We encourage you to confess Jesus as your Lord and Savior, believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for this is the path to salvation (Romans 10:9).
