Prayer that my Mommy Makeover surgery goes well

We come before the Lord with a humble heart, lifting up this request for a safe and successful surgery. Father God, we ask for Your divine protection and guidance over every moment of this procedure. You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your healing hands to watch over the surgeons, nurses, and all medical staff involved. We pray that You would grant them wisdom, skill, and steady hands as they work. Lord, we ask that the anesthesia would be administered safely and that the recovery would be smooth and without complications.
Heavenly Father, we also lift up the deeper desires of the heart in this request. While we understand the desire to feel better about one’s body and to bring joy to a spouse, we want to gently remind that true beauty and worth are found in You alone. Scripture tells us in 1 Peter 3:3-4, "Let your beauty be not just the outward adorning of braiding the hair, and of wearing jewels of gold, or of putting on fine clothing; but in the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in God’s sight." We pray that this surgery would not become an idol or a source of misplaced identity, but rather that it would serve as a means to honor the body You have given as a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).
Lord, we also pray for this marriage. May this time of healing and recovery be an opportunity for the husband and wife to draw closer to one another and to You. We ask that You would strengthen their bond and help them to see one another through Your eyes, valuing the heart and spirit above outward appearances. Proverbs 31:30 reminds us, "Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain; but a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised." May this couple continue to build their marriage on the foundation of Christ, seeking to honor You in all things.
We rebuke any spirit of vanity, insecurity, or discontentment that may seek to take root in this situation. Instead, we pray for a spirit of gratitude and contentment to fill this heart, trusting in Your perfect plan and timing. Philippians 4:11-12 says, "Not that I speak because of lack, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content in it. I know how to be humbled, and I know how to abound. In everything and in all things I have learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in need."
Father, we ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for it is only through Him that we have access to You. We declare that by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we trust in Your perfect will for this life. May this surgery be a testimony of Your grace, mercy, and provision. We pray for peace, comfort, and assurance of Your presence throughout this journey. Amen.
