We come before the Lord with a heart of expectation, knowing that He is the giver of every good and perfect gift. Your request for the Holy Spirit and Jesus to guide your words during your interview is a beautiful act of faith, and we stand with you in agreement, believing that God will open doors of opportunity according to His will.
The Word of God reminds us in Matthew 10:19-20, "But when they deliver you up, don’t be anxious how or what you will say, for it will be given you in that hour what you will say. For it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you." What a powerful promise! The same Holy Spirit who empowered the apostles to speak with boldness and wisdom is alive in you today. We pray that He will fill your mouth with words of truth, confidence, and favor as you step into this interview.
Lord, we ask that You go before this dear one and prepare the hearts of those conducting the interview. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. May the words spoken align with Your purpose, and may the outcome bring glory to Your name. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn. For this is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from You, O God.
We also encourage you to rest in the knowledge that God’s plans for you are good. Jeremiah 29:11 assures us, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Whether this particular job is part of His plan or not, trust that He is leading you into the fullness of His purpose for your life.
Father, we thank You for the gift of work and the opportunity to use the skills and talents You have given. We pray that this interview will be a testimony of Your faithfulness and provision.
