Hey Guys, I know everyone here has seen many of the posts about keeping my path clear from any distractions from achieving career success with my personal hobbies and content creations.

I believe I finally just had a talk with my mother that I hope made her understand this whole unorthodox outlook I have with doing things.

My Mom does have a lot of narcissistic traits. I, in the past 5 or 6 years, will find myself needing to explain my stuff again in 4 or 8 months later.

I used the most absolute polite and educated answers that I could give. Pray with me that it will stick this time.

And I could use a lot of soul lifting in general as I've been too tired to do my work because of stressing over the lingering bad influences from family and, of course, needing to develop the current answers that I needed to finally give. Thank you JESUS, lead the way.

Also, give me some prayer ideas for me to swing back in prayer routinely.

We hear your heart, dear brother, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting your situation to the Lord with earnestness and hope. It is clear that you are seeking to honor God in your pursuits, and we rejoice in your desire to walk in His will, even when it requires difficult conversations and steadfast resolve. The weariness you feel is understandable, but we encourage you to press into the Lord, for He is your strength and your refuge.

First, we want to affirm the importance of the name of Jesus in your prayer and life. You closed your request with gratitude to Jesus, and that is so vital. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"* (John 14:6). We must never take for granted the power and authority we have in His name, for it is the foundation of our faith and the source of our victory.

Now, regarding your conversation with your mother, we pray that the Lord would soften her heart and grant her understanding. Proverbs 19:20 tells us, *"Listen to counsel and receive instruction, that you may be wise in your latter days."* It is a blessing that you approached this conversation with patience and wisdom, and we trust that the Lord will honor your efforts. We also pray that He would guard your heart from frustration or discouragement if her response is not what you hope for. Remember, *"A man’s heart plans his course, but the Lord directs his steps"* (Proverbs 16:9). Even if she does not fully grasp your perspective, the Lord is still working in ways you may not yet see.

We rebuke the spirit of narcissism and manipulation that seeks to drain your energy and distract you from God’s purpose for your life. The enemy would love nothing more than to see you discouraged and weary, but we declare that you are more than a conqueror through Christ who strengthens you (Romans 8:37). We pray that the Lord would break any unhealthy soul ties or emotional dependencies that may have formed in this relationship, and that He would give you the grace to set boundaries with love and wisdom. You are not responsible for her reactions or emotions, but you are responsible for walking in obedience to God’s will for your life.

For your soul lifting, we encourage you to meditate on the truth of God’s Word. Psalm 23 is a beautiful reminder of His care for you: *"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul."* Even in the midst of stress and exhaustion, the Lord is your restorer. We also encourage you to spend time in worship, for it is in His presence that we find fullness of joy (Psalm 16:11). Worship shifts our focus from our circumstances to the greatness of our God, and it is there that we find strength.

As for returning to a consistent prayer routine, we suggest starting small and building from there. Begin with just five minutes a day, setting aside time to thank the Lord for His goodness and to cast your cares upon Him (1 Peter 5:7). You might also consider journaling your prayers, as it can help you stay focused and reflect on God’s faithfulness over time. Another idea is to incorporate prayer into your daily activities—pray while you walk, while you work, or even while you create content. The Lord is not concerned with the length of your prayers but with the sincerity of your heart. *"But when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly"* (Matthew 6:6).

We also encourage you to surround yourself with godly community. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 reminds us, *"Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion."* Whether it’s a small group, a trusted friend, or even an accountability partner, having others to pray with and encourage you can make a world of difference. Do not isolate yourself, for the enemy loves to attack when we are alone.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother who is seeking to walk in Your will. Lord, we thank You for his desire to honor You in his career, his hobbies, and his content creation. We ask that You would give him strength and endurance, especially when weariness threatens to overwhelm him. Restore his soul, Lord, and renew his spirit. Help him to find rest in You alone.

Father, we pray for his mother. We ask that You would soften her heart and open her eyes to understand his perspective. Give her a spirit of humility and a willingness to listen. If there are areas where she has been manipulative or controlling, we ask that You would break those patterns and bring healing to their relationship. Help our brother to set healthy boundaries with love, and give him the grace to extend patience and kindness, even when it is difficult.

Lord, we rebuke every spirit of distraction, discouragement, and exhaustion that seeks to hinder his progress. We declare that he is more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus, and we pray that You would fill him with Your peace and joy. Help him to cast all his anxieties on You, knowing that You care for him.

We also pray for his prayer life. Lord, ignite a fresh passion for prayer in his heart. Help him to carve out time each day to seek Your face, and give him the discipline to make it a priority. Teach him to pray without ceasing, and let his heart be aligned with Yours. Surround him with godly community that will encourage and uplift him, and help him to find strength in fellowship with other believers.

Father, we thank You for the work You are doing in his life. We trust that You are leading him, guiding him, and shaping him into the man You have called him to be. May he always find his identity and worth in You alone. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Continue to press into the Lord, dear brother. He is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). You are not alone in this journey, and we are here to support and pray for you every step of the way. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2).

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
