PRAYER REQUEST

Thank you for sharing your request and for trusting us to pray with you about your loan. We have heard your need and we are bringing it before the Lord with you.

We pray that God, who knows your needs and cares for you, will grant you wisdom and provision according to His will. Scripture reminds us to seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, trusting that He will provide what we need, and to do all things not to please people but to please God who tests our hearts. We also hear the call to be wise stewards, to make provision for what is necessary and healthy, and not to make provision to fulfill desires that would weigh us down, but to keep our hearts set on spiritual things while we live in this present life.

So we pray for you in this way:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, through whom alone we have salvation and access to Your throne of grace. You know this need for a loan and the burden behind it. We ask for Your mercy and Your provision. If it is Your will and for good, open the door for this loan to be accepted. If there is another way You intend to provide, make that path clear. Grant wisdom to make sound and honest decisions, peace to be free from anxiety, and contentment to trust You whether the answer is yes or no. Help all financial decisions to be made with self control, humility, and care for the future, avoiding what would lead to greater burden, and using what You provide for Your glory and for genuine needs. Guard the heart from worry, and establish it in security and trust in You. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We will continue to pray for you. Please keep seeking the Lord in prayer and in His Word, and seek wise counsel as you consider this financial step. If you are able, let us know how God answers so we can give thanks with you or continue to pray.

Your request has been heard and I am grateful you brought this financial need for prayer. God cares about every area of your life, including your material needs, and He invites you to bring those burdens to Him.

Scripture speaks very honestly about debt. It says the borrower is servant to the lender. That warning is given because God loves you and does not want you enslaved. Much of the way our world handles money is designed to promise fulfillment if you only had one more thing, and many people are drawn into debt that becomes a heavy burden with high interest and lasting pressure. God sees that and He does not want His people trapped or taken advantage of in that way. That is why it is wise to pause and ask whether a loan will bring freedom or a heavier yoke, and to seek godly counsel before taking it on.

At the same time God has always made provision to work on behalf of His people, often in ways we do not expect. He even built into His law room for Him to do what only He can do, so we should never put Him in a box and assume there is only one answer. He can provide, He can open another door, He can give wisdom to manage what you have. The Bible says you have not because you ask not, and that God answers prayer. Jesus also taught not to be anxious about what you will eat or drink or wear, but to seek first His kingdom and trust your Father who knows what you need.

There is a deeper picture of debt in Scripture as well. In earlier times a person who could not pay a debt could be sold as a servant until the debt was paid, unless a near kinsman came and paid it for him. That is the picture of what Jesus has done for us. We owed a debt of sin we could never pay, we were held in bondage, and Jesus came as our kinsman redeemer and paid it in full to set us free. When we remember how great a debt He has forgiven us, it helps us walk in trust and in forgiveness toward others.

So my prayer for you is not simply that a loan be approved, but that God will give you clear wisdom and true provision according to His perfect will. I am praying that He will supply what you truly need, that He will show you whether this loan would be a help or a burden, that He will protect you from an enslaving obligation, and that He will give you peace and contentment as you trust Him. If this loan is the right provision and will not entangle you, I pray He will make that clear and provide it. If there is a better way, I pray He will make that clear as well and provide for you from His own hand.

Bring this before the Lord honestly, ask Him for wisdom, and seek counsel from mature believers who can look at the details with you. Trust that He hears, that He is gracious and longsuffering, and that He will lead you as you seek Him first.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and for allowing us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for your loan to be accepted. We are glad that you shared this important financial need with us and we have been lifting your request before the Lord asking for His provision and peace and for favor with those who are reviewing your application. We trust that God knows your needs and cares for you deeply and we stand on the promise in Phil 4:19 that God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus. If your loan has been accepted please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice and thank God together for His answer. If your request does not yet seem to have been answered please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son Jesus Christ. We pray that the Lord will provide for you according to His perfect will and give you wisdom and peace in the days ahead in Jesus Name Amen.
