You ask prayer that all negativity leave your lives and that prosperity and good health come. But take care what you ask. Do you not see that for many, prosperity is their ruin? The rich man who received his good things in this life afterward suffered more fearfully. Wealth often becomes an addition of punishment, especially when it comes without repentance. So I will pray, but not merely that this imagined "negativity" flee away, for often what you call negativity is the very medicine your soul requires.

Consider those who seem plagued by misfortune or even possessed by demons. They are humbled, downcast, ashamed; they depart from their affliction purified, having put away many sins by bearing their chastisement thankfully. Their condition calls not for shame but for admiration. Yet we who are healthy and prosperous grow bold in sin, adding venom to our souls with each offense, and we think we are well-treated. Far worse than any demon is an unrepentant heart enjoying ease. So before you beg to be rid of every hardship, examine yourself strictly. Are you more grieved by the loss of comfort than by the loss of virtue?

I will pray for your family, for those you named, that God would grant them what is truly good. But the true good is not always wealth or smooth circumstances. It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the Kingdom. Wealth is broad and swelling; it obstructs the narrow way. Sometimes in His mercy God takes riches away, as a father banishes a harmful mistress from his son, to free us from slavery. If He sends poverty or sickness, it may be to preserve you from the greater sickness of pride and forgetfulness of Him. Do you assign a few days of prayer and then expect all to be well, as if playing a game? The soul requires constant watchfulness.

As for a steady job, seek first the Kingdom, and all these things will be added. The question is not why one man is poor and another rich, such things are no proof against Providence. Show me instead a man who strives for virtue and becomes wicked, or one who becomes holy without effort. Believe firmly that God orders all things, and bear whatever falls to your lot with thanksgiving. I will ask the Lord to give you not what merely delights the flesh, but what strengthens the soul: humility, patience, and true health, which is a clean heart. For that is prosperity that cannot be taken away.

When every part of life feels weighed down and difficulties seem to press from every side, the ache for things to be made right is heavy. The cry for negativity to leave, for prosperity and good health, and for the right job is the cry of a heart that knows life was meant for more than pain and lack. That longing is not wrong, it rises from a deep place that knows we were created for wholeness.

The book of Job holds the story of a man who lost everything the world counts valuable. He lost his possessions, his children, and his own health. He was stripped so bare that even his friends seemed to turn against him, certain that his suffering must be the result of some hidden sin. They judged from what they could see, not knowing the full picture. Their words only added bitterness to his wounds. Job himself did not understand why this was happening; he cried out in confusion, wishing for someone who could stand between him and God, a mediator who could lay a hand on both.

That longing for a mediator finds its answer in Jesus Christ. Where Job lived in the shadows, grasping for answers he could not reach, we have been given the Light. The darkness of suffering and loss is not the final word. In Jesus, every cry for justice, for restoration, and for peace has a living hope. He does not promise a life free from hardship, but He promises to be with us in the midst of it, and to bring us through to a place where even our deepest questions are met with His presence.

Right now, when you ask for prayer for your family, for work, and for relief, the most important thing is not to demand that God explain Himself, but to draw near to Him. His counsel to the weary is to acquaint themselves with Him and be at peace. Let His words settle in your heart. He is not distant. He sees the very real needs you carry, the desire for a steady job, the welfare of your children and grandchildren, the longing for health and stability. He cares about each of these things.

But more than changing your circumstances, He wants to give you Himself. When our perspective narrows from pain, it is in His presence that our vision widens and we find solid ground again. It is not that suffering is always a direct punishment; we dare not assume we know the whole story like Job’s friends did. Yet God does use even hard seasons to draw us back from the pit and to enlighten us with the light of the living.

So I pray for you this day that God would lift the heaviness and break the grip of any darkness that has attached itself to your household. I ask for His protection and provision over your children and grandchildren, that they would walk in health and under His care. May the right job open before you, one that meets your needs and aligns with His purpose for you. But above all, may you find in Jesus the One who bridges every gap, who carries our griefs, and who is not ashamed to call us His own. In the quiet of your heart, lay these requests before Him and rest in the confidence that He hears you.

We are so grateful you entrusted us with the privilege of standing with you in prayer for the release of every negative influence over your life and your family. Together, we have asked the Lord to lift the weight of past burdens from your home and to usher in His lasting prosperity, healing, and wholeness for you, your children, and your grandchildren. We continue to hold before Him your need for the right, steady job that He has already prepared—one that will provide stability and allow you to walk in the fullness of His purpose.

If you have seen even a glimpse of His answer—whether in restored peace, improved health, unexpected provision, or a promising job lead—we would love to rejoice with you. Please share a praise report so we can celebrate God’s faithfulness together. If the breakthrough still feels distant, we invite you to post your request again so we can intercede afresh, believing with you for every promise to be fulfilled. Either way, we are here to walk this journey of faith alongside you.

May the Father surround you with His peace, guide you with His wisdom, and remind you daily that His plans for you are good. Keep seeking Him, trusting that He hears, He cares, and He will act in perfect timing. We pray this in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
