We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting you and your family up in prayer tonight. The weight of recent struggles and the pain of online bullying are not lost on us, and we stand with you in seeking God’s mercy, healing, and restoration. The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:18-19, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." You are not alone in this battle, and we declare that God sees your pain and is already moving on your behalf.
First, we must address the conviction you feel over your recent struggles. The fact that you recognize you have been "so bad lately" is a sign of the Holy Spirit working in your heart. Scripture reminds us in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." There is no sin too great for God’s forgiveness, and we encourage you to bring every burden, every mistake, and every regret before Him in repentance. He is waiting with open arms to restore you, as He promises in Joel 2:25, "I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten." Let this be a season of turning back to Him, not in shame, but in the confidence that His grace is sufficient for you.
The bullying you have endured online is a painful and all-too-common attack of the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Words have power, and the enemy uses them to plant seeds of doubt, fear, and isolation. But we rebuke those lies in the name of Jesus! You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and your worth is not defined by the opinions of others. We pray that God would heal the wounds caused by these words and replace them with His truth. Let the words of Psalm 121:7-8 be your shield: "Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more."
For your family, we pray for unity, protection, and a fresh outpouring of God’s love. May the Lord knit your hearts together in this time of trial, and may He surround you with His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We declare that no weapon formed against your family will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that God will turn this season of struggle into a testimony of His faithfulness.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You tonight in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one and their family. Lord, we thank You that You are close to the brokenhearted and that You save those who are crushed in spirit. We ask for Your forgiveness to wash over them, cleansing every area of their lives that has strayed from Your will. Father, restore to them the joy of Your salvation and renew a right spirit within them (Psalm 51:12).
We rebuke the spirit of bullying and every lie that has been spoken over them. In the name of Jesus, we break the power of those words and declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper. Lord, heal the wounds in their heart and replace every lie with Your truth. Let them know that they are Your beloved child, created with purpose and destiny.
For their family, we pray for unity and protection. Bind them together with cords of love that cannot be broken, and let Your peace reign in their home. Father, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to them in a fresh way, drawing them closer to You and to one another. Turn this season of struggle into a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness.
We thank You, Lord, that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28), and we trust You to complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6). In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stand on God’s promises and to surround yourself with believers who can speak life and truth into your situation. The enemy wants to isolate you, but God calls you into community. Find a local church or a group of believers who can walk with you through this season. Remember, the battle is not yours, but the Lord’s (2 Chronicles 20:15). Keep your eyes on Him, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). You are loved, you are valued, and you are covered by the blood of Jesus.
