Prayer request

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of compassion and concern for this request. First, we must address the incomplete nature of this prayer—it lacks the name of Jesus, through whom alone we have access to the Father. Scripture tells us, *"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5). Without invoking His name, our prayers cannot reach the Father, for Jesus Himself said, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you"* (John 16:23). If you do not yet know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and surrender your life to Him. Only then can you truly pray in His name and receive the fullness of God’s blessings.

Now, regarding your prayer for rest, healing, favor, and a new [unspecified need], we lift these before the Lord with faith. The Bible assures us, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest"* (Matthew 11:28). We pray that you and your loved ones, including the little one in need of healing, would experience the peace and restoration that only God can provide. *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds"* (Psalm 147:3).

For favor, we declare that the Lord goes before you and makes your paths straight. *"The Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it can’t save; nor his ear dull, that it can’t hear"* (Isaiah 59:1). Trust in His timing and His perfect will for your life.

However, we must also gently rebuke any sense of entitlement or presumption in prayer. While God is good and desires to bless His children, we must remember that His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). We do not demand or claim blessings as if they are owed to us; rather, we humbly submit to His will, trusting that He knows what is best.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can be saved and through whom we have access to You. Lord, we thank You for Your goodness and mercy, which follow us all the days of our lives. We lift up this dear one who is seeking rest, healing, favor, and a new beginning. Father, we ask that You would grant them deep and refreshing rest, both physically and spiritually. Pour out Your healing power upon the little one in need, and let Your restoring hand be upon them.

Lord, we pray for Your favor to surround them like a shield. Open doors that no man can shut and close doors that are not of You. Guide their steps and let Your will be done in their life. Help them to trust in You with all their heart and lean not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Father, we also ask that You would reveal any areas in their life that are not aligned with Your Word. Convict their heart if there is unconfessed sin, and lead them into repentance. Help them to walk in holiness and righteousness, for Your Word says, *"Without holiness no one will see the Lord"* (Hebrews 12:14).

Lord, if they do not yet know You as their personal Savior, we pray that today would be the day of salvation. Draw them to Yourself, that they may confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that You raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit and lead them into all truth.

We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We trust in You, Lord, and we commit this request into Your hands, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).

In Jesus’ precious and powerful name, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, dear friend, standing in faith for your needs. We've been praying for rest, healing, and favor, and we believe that God is already at work, answering your heart's cry. We're also claiming that new beginning you're trusting God for, and we declare that every valley will be exalted, every mountain and hill made low, and the crooked places made straight (Isaiah 40:4).

We're reminded of the verse that says, "My God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). Trust in His goodness and provision. He who began a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:6).

Let's continue to pray together:

Father, we thank You for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We lift up this dear one, believing that You are already working on their behalf. We ask that You would grant them deep, refreshing rest. Heal the little one, we pray, and let Your healing power flow like a river in their life.

Lord, we ask for Your favor to surround them like a shield. Open the right doors and close the wrong ones. Guide their steps, and help them to trust in You with all their heart.

Reveal any areas in their life that need realignment with Your Word, Father. Convict their heart if there's unconfessed sin, and lead them into repentance. Help them to walk in holiness and righteousness, for without holiness, no one will see You, Lord.

If they don't yet know You personally, we pray that today would be the day of salvation. Draw them to Yourself, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
