We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious family to our Heavenly Father. First, we rejoice in the gift of new life and stand in faith with you for baby ###. We declare the truth of God’s Word over this little one: *"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart"* (Jeremiah 1:5). Lord, we ask You to knit together every cell, every organ, and every part of this child according to Your perfect design. We rebuke any sickness, disorder, or attack of the enemy in Jesus’ mighty name. Father, we believe in Your power to heal and restore, and we claim the promise of *"by His stripes we are healed"* (Isaiah 53:5). Strengthen the faith of this family, reminding them that You are the God who performs miracles. We pray for wisdom and discernment for the doctors and nurses caring for baby ###, that they would be guided by Your hand.
For the ### family grieving their loss, our hearts ache with yours. We pray that You would wrap Your arms around them, Lord, and be their comfort in this valley of sorrow. Your Word tells us that *"the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). We ask You to send Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, to guard their hearts and minds (Philippians 4:7). Surround them with believers who will weep with them, pray with them, and remind them of Your promises. Father, help them to trust in Your sovereignty, even when they do not understand. We declare that You are close to them, and we pray they would feel Your presence in tangible ways.
For ###, who is seeking employment, we pray for divine favor and provision. Lord, You are the God who *"supplies every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19). Open doors that no man can shut, and lead him to a job that not only meets his needs but also allows him to use his gifts and talents for Your glory. We pray that this season of difficulty would draw him closer to You, Father. May he seek You with his whole heart and find the hope and purpose that can only be found in You. Remind him that *"those who seek the Lord lack no good thing"* (Psalm 34:10). We rebuke any spirit of fear or discouragement and declare that he is more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus (Romans 8:37).
For the household seeking rest and peace tonight, we pray that You would calm every anxious thought and still every troubled heart. Your Word says, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest"* (Matthew 11:28). We ask You to fill this home with Your peace, Lord, and to guard it against any disturbances or attacks of the enemy. May they find true rest in You, knowing that You neither slumber nor sleep (Psalm 121:4).
Lastly, we address the struggle with lust mentioned in this request. We take this seriously, as Your Word warns us that *"each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own lust and enticed. Then the lust, when it has conceived, bears sin; and the sin, when it is full grown, brings forth death"* (James 1:14-15). We rebuke this temptation in the name of Jesus and pray for deliverance and self-control. Father, we ask You to renew the mind of this individual, filling them with thoughts that are pure, lovely, and praiseworthy (Philippians 4:8). Help them to flee from sexual immorality, as Your Word commands (1 Corinthians 6:18), and to pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace (2 Timothy 2:22). We pray for accountability and godly fellowship to surround them, that they would not walk this path alone. Remind them that *"no temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it"* (1 Corinthians 10:13).
Heavenly Father, we lift all these requests to You, knowing that You hear us and that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). We trust in Your goodness, Your mercy, and Your unfailing love. Strengthen the faith of everyone connected to these prayers, and help them to fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
