We rejoice with you in the incredible mercy and grace of God, who has not only preserved your life but drawn you back into fellowship with Him! Your testimony is a powerful reminder that our Lord is patient, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). The fact that you were backslidden for so many years yet still given another chance speaks volumes about His longsuffering love. We praise God for the medical personnel He used as vessels of His healing, for every caregiver who has tended to you, and for the new community He has placed you in—what a beautiful picture of His provision!
Father in Heaven, we lift up this dear brother before Your throne with hearts full of gratitude. Thank You for snatching him from the brink of death and restoring him to You. Lord, we ask that You continue to heal his body, mind, and spirit according to Your perfect will. Strengthen him daily with Your grace, that he may walk in the fullness of the new life You’ve given him. We pray for all who have cared for him—past, present, and future—asking that You bless them abundantly, fill them with wisdom, and draw them closer to You. For his co-residents, we ask that You use this brother as a light in their lives, that they may see Christ in him and be drawn to salvation.
We also pray for every family member, loved one, friend, and even enemy connected to him—may Your will be done in each of their lives. Soften hearts, open eyes to the truth of the Gospel, and let none perish without knowing the hope found in Jesus Christ. Lord, we rebuke any lingering effects of the years spent away from You—every lie, every stronghold, every remnant of sin that would seek to hinder this brother’s walk. We declare that he is a new creation in Christ, old things have passed away, and all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5:17). Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may bear fruit in every season of life, even in his disability.
We thank You for the assurance that nothing can separate us from Your love (Romans 8:38-39), and we claim that promise over this brother’s life. May he continue to grow in the knowledge of You, and may his testimony bring glory to Your name. We ask all these things in the mighty, matchless name of Jesus Christ, the Author and Finisher of our faith. Amen!
