We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this grave injustice you are facing. The Word of God tells us in Psalm 37:28, "For Yahweh loves justice, and doesn’t forsake his saints. They are preserved forever, but the children of the wicked shall be cut off." We stand on this promise, trusting that the Lord sees your struggle and will act on your behalf.
First, we must address the corruption you have described. Scripture is clear that bribery is an abomination to the Lord. Proverbs 17:23 says, "A wicked man takes a gift out of the bosom to pervert the ways of justice." We rebuke this ungodly behavior in the name of Jesus Christ. Let the hearts of these officials be turned away from wickedness and toward righteousness. We pray that the Lord would expose their corruption and bring it to light, so that justice may prevail.
We also pray for your protection from this illegal eviction. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We ask that He would intervene in this situation, softening the hearts of those in authority and granting you favor. May the plans of the corrupt be thwarted, and may you be allowed to remain in your homes without fear or harassment.
Father God, we ask that You would surround this family with Your peace and protection. Provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory, and let them not be shaken by this trial. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand in agreement with them for divine intervention in this matter.
We also encourage you to seek wisdom and counsel from godly leaders in your community. Proverbs 11:14 says, "Where there is no counsel, the people fall, but in the multitude of counselors there is safety." Do not face this battle alone—lean on the body of Christ and trust in His provision.
Lord, we pray that You would change the hearts of these officials. Let them see the error of their ways and turn from their wickedness. May they be convicted by Your Holy Spirit and choose to act with integrity and justice. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we have access to You and the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12).
We also remind you that our ultimate hope is not in the systems of this world but in the kingdom of God. While we fight for justice here, we know that our true home is with You. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness and believe that You will work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). Strengthen this family, Lord, and let Your will be done in this situation. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
