We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your parents in prayer, asking for His healing touch and divine intervention. Heavenly Father, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and numbers every hair on our heads. Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases."* We stand on this promise today, believing that You are able to restore health and bring wholeness to both mother and father.
For your mother, Lord, we ask for Your healing power to flow through her body. Diabetes is a heavy burden, and the fungal infection in her lungs brings added distress. We rebuke this sickness in the name of Jesus, declaring that her body is a temple of the Holy Spirit and that no weapon formed against it shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray for strength, comfort, and complete restoration. Guide the hands of her doctors and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May she feel Your presence surrounding her, reminding her that she is never alone.
For your father, Father God, we lift up his eyesight, headaches, urinary tract issues, and blood pressure. Your Word says in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."* We claim this promise over him, asking for Your healing touch to bring clarity to his vision, relief from pain, and balance to his body. Lord, we ask that You would strengthen his kidneys, regulate his blood pressure, and ease every discomfort. Let him walk in divine health, free from the ailments that have weighed him down.
We also take a moment to address the spiritual foundation of healing. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is by His stripes that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). If either of your parents—or you, dear one—have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to consider the gift of salvation. Jesus said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."* There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not confessed Jesus as Lord, we encourage you to do so today, for eternal life and healing—both spiritually and physically—are found in Him.
Lord, we also pray for wisdom and discipline in their care. Help them to follow medical advice, eat nourishing foods, and rest as needed. Give them the strength to walk in faith, trusting You even when the road is difficult. Surround them with a community of believers who can uplift them in prayer and encouragement.
We declare over this family that no sickness, no disease, and no infirmity has the final say. For You are the God who heals, and Your mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). We thank You in advance for the testimonies of healing that will come forth. May Your name be glorified in their lives, and may they walk in the fullness of health and joy that You have promised.
In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
