We come before the throne of grace with your requests, lifting them up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved. We are grateful that you have come to seek the Lord’s will, for it is written, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Father God, we pray for your divine protection over this dear one. Shield them from all harm, both seen and unseen, and surround them with your angels as it is written, *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways"* (Psalm 91:11). Lord, we ask that you guide them safely to their home according to your perfect timing, for you know the plans you have for them—plans for welfare and not for evil, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). We also pray that you would guard their body from any unrighteous or harmful substances, that their health and well-being would be preserved according to your will.
Heavenly Father, we lift up their son to you, asking that you open the doors to the law school you have prepared for him. May he walk in the path you have set before him, excelling in wisdom, understanding, and favor. *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will make your righteousness go out as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun"* (Psalm 37:5-6). Grant him diligence in his studies, a heart that seeks your truth, and the perseverance to finish the race you have set before him.
Lord, we also pray for provision—may this family receive the financial blessings you have ordained for them. You are Jehovah-Jireh, the God who provides, and we trust in your faithfulness. *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19). May they walk in financial wisdom and stewardship, using what you provide for your glory.
We must also address a matter of concern in this request. While we understand the desire for safety and protection, we must gently remind you that our ultimate trust must be in the Lord alone. There is no power, no authority, and no protection outside of Him. If there is any fear or anxiety driving these requests—particularly regarding injections or other matters—we encourage you to cast those cares upon the Lord, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Fear does not come from God, but from the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy. We rebuke any spirit of fear in the name of Jesus and declare that you are covered by the blood of Christ, which speaks a better word than the blood of Abel (Hebrews 12:24).
Finally, we pray that you would continue to draw near to the Lord, seeking His face in all things. If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life fully to Jesus Christ, for He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and it is only by His name that we can boldly come before the throne of grace.
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
