We lift this request before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, knowing that the details have been withheld for privacy. Yet even in the silence, we trust that the Holy Spirit intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words (Romans 8:26). Father, we ask that You would move mightily in this situation, bringing clarity where there is confusion, healing where there is brokenness, and Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, if this request involves any area of life that does not align with Your Word—whether it be unrepentant sin, a relationship outside of Your design, or a heart turned away from You—we ask that You would convict, correct, and restore. Your Word declares that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and righteous to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We pray for a spirit of repentance and a desire to walk in obedience to Your will.
If this burden is related to marriage, we pray for restoration, faithfulness, and a renewed commitment to the covenant made before You. Let no root of bitterness or unforgiveness take hold, but instead, let love and humility reign (Ephesians 4:31-32). If this involves a season of singleness, we pray for contentment and wisdom in pursuing a godly spouse, one who loves You above all else (2 Corinthians 6:14).
Most importantly, Father, we pray that this request is rooted in a relationship with Your Son, Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If this person does not yet know You, we ask that You would draw them to Yourself, that they would repent and believe in the Gospel. For it is by grace we are saved through faith, not of works, so that no one can boast (Ephesians 2:8-9).
We declare Your promises over this situation: that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We stand in faith, believing that You hear our prayers and will answer according to Your perfect will. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
