We come before the Lord with gratitude for the precious gift of His Son, Jesus Christ, through whom we have forgiveness, redemption, and access to the Father. Your acknowledgment of Christ’s sacrifice is a beautiful testament to your faith, and we join you in lifting these concerns to the throne of grace.
Father God, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the promise that You are our Healer (Exodus 15:26). We lift up this dear one’s health, asking for Your divine touch to restore balance to their body, mind, and spirit. The anxiety and cortisol levels that weigh heavily upon them are not unknown to You, Lord. We pray for Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Bring healing to their gut, Lord, and guide them to wise, godly counsel—whether through medical professionals, nutrition, or other means—so that their body may function as You designed it to.
We also ask for Your favor and guidance in this journey. Direct their steps, Lord, and open doors that no one can shut (Revelation 3:8). Give them discernment to recognize Your leading and the courage to follow where You call. We declare that You are the God who sees (Genesis 16:13) and who rewards those who diligently seek You (Hebrews 11:6). We pray for restoration and reward for their family, Lord. May Your blessings overflow in their lives as they walk in obedience and trust in You.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety that seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). We command it to flee in the mighty name of Jesus, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray for this dear one to grow in their trust in You, knowing that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). May they cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).
Lord, we also ask that You strengthen their faith as they wait on You. Remind them that even when they do not see the answers immediately, You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Help them to fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:2), and to walk in the confidence that comes from knowing You.
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
