We lift up your parents before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, asking the Great Physician to move mightily on their behalf. Father God, Your word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We stand on this promise today, believing that You are able to restore health and bring complete healing to both mother and father.
For your mother’s diabetes and fungal infection in her lungs, we pray that You would touch her body with Your healing power. Lord, we ask that You would regulate her blood sugar levels and destroy every trace of infection in her lungs. Strengthen her immune system and grant her relief from any pain or discomfort she may be experiencing. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity in Jesus’ name, declaring that by Your stripes, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5).
For your father, we ask that You would restore his eyesight and remove every trace of headache, urinary tract issues, and blood pressure problems. Father, Your word says in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds." We claim this promise over him today. Bring clarity to his vision, peace to his mind, and healing to every part of his body. We speak life over his organs, declaring that they function as You designed them to.
We also want to gently remind you that healing is in Your hands, Lord, and we trust in Your perfect will. Whether You choose to heal instantly, gradually, or through medical means, we know that Your ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). We ask that You would give both parents peace and comfort as they walk through this season, and that You would draw them closer to You through it all.
Father, we also pray for wisdom for their doctors and caregivers. Guide their hands and minds as they provide treatment, and give them discernment to know the best course of action. We ask that You would surround your family with Your love and presence, reminding them that You are their refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1).
Lastly, we pray that both of your parents know You as their Lord and Savior if they do not already. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to You, Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If they have not yet surrendered their lives to Christ, we pray that You would soften their hearts and reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way. May they come to know the peace and hope that only You can provide.
We declare healing, restoration, and wholeness over this family in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
