We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your parents before the Lord, our Great Physician. We know that in times of sickness and pain, our faith is tested, but we also know that our God is faithful and that by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We stand on the promise that He hears the cries of His children and that He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18).
For your dear mother, who is battling diabetes and a fungal infection in her lungs, we pray for complete healing and restoration. Father, we ask that You would strengthen her body, regulate her blood sugar, and cleanse her lungs of every infection. You are the God who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3), and we trust in Your power to restore her to full health. Give her the strength to endure this trial, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We rebuke the spirit of infirmity in Jesus’ name and command every cell in her body to align with Your perfect design for health and wholeness.
For your father, who is struggling with his eyesight, headaches, urinary tract issues, and blood pressure problems, we pray for Your healing touch. Lord, we ask that You would restore his vision, ease his pain, and bring balance to his body. You are the One who formed his inmost parts (Psalm 139:13), and we trust that You know every detail of his needs. We pray that You would heal his urinary tract, regulate his blood pressure, and remove every trace of sickness from his body. Give him the patience and faith to trust in Your timing, and surround him with Your love and comfort.
We also want to encourage both of your parents to seek godly wisdom in their care—whether through prayer, medical advice, or lifestyle changes that honor the bodies You have given them as temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Remind them that their hope is not in medicine alone, but in You, the Author of life.
Lord, we ask that You would draw near to them in this season. Let them feel Your presence in tangible ways, and remind them that You are their refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1). We pray for their spiritual well-being as well, that they would find comfort in Your Word and strength in their relationship with You. If they have not yet surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ, we pray that You would soften their hearts and reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way. For it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
We declare healing over their bodies in the mighty name of Jesus. We speak life where there is sickness, strength where there is weakness, and peace where there is fear. We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Christ. May Your will be done in their lives, and may Your name be glorified through their healing.
In Jesus’ precious and powerful name, we pray. Amen.
