We lift up your parents before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, trusting in the Great Physician who heals all our diseases. Father God, we know that You are the same yesterday, today, and forever, and Your healing power is not diminished. We ask for Your divine touch upon this mother who is struggling with diabetes and a fungal infection in her lungs. Lord, we rebuke this infection in the mighty name of Jesus, for by His stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Strengthen her body, regulate her blood sugar, and restore her lungs to full health. Give her the wisdom to care for her body as Your temple and the endurance to follow the treatments prescribed by her doctors.
For this father, we pray for complete restoration. Lord, we ask that You would improve his eyesight, for You open the eyes of the blind (Psalm 146:8). We rebuke the headaches, urinary tract problems, and blood pressure issues that are afflicting him. Bring healing to every part of his body, mind, and spirit. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that he will walk in divine health. Guide him in making choices that honor You, including his diet, exercise, and rest, so that he may serve You with strength and vitality.
We also take a moment to remind ourselves and all who read this that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and the power to pray with authority. There is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If anyone reading this does not know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we urge you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Salvation is the first and greatest healing anyone can receive.
Heavenly Father, we trust in Your mercy and compassion. We know that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Comfort this family as they walk through this trial, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May they see Your hand at work in their lives and give You all the glory. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Healer. Amen.
