We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, yet full of faith, lifting up this situation to our Heavenly Father. First, we thank God for the gift of His Son, Jesus Christ, through whom we have redemption and access to the Father. It is only through the name of Jesus that we can approach God with confidence, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We are grateful that this prayer acknowledges Jesus, for He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).
Father, we lift up this family that has been struck by fraud. Lord, we know that the enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke the schemes of the devil in this situation and declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray for Your divine protection over their finances, their reputation, and their peace. Restore to them what has been lost, Lord, and let Your justice prevail. We ask for favor and wisdom as they navigate this trial—may they lean not on their own understanding but trust in You with all their hearts (Proverbs 3:5-6). Let this hardship draw them closer to You, Father, and may they see Your hand moving on their behalf.
We also pray for favor in the workplace over these next few weeks. Lord, You are the God who provides, and we ask that You open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Grant wisdom, diligence, and opportunities to excel. May this time be marked by Your peace and provision, and may any anxiety be replaced with trust in Your promises. We declare that the Lord is their shepherd, and they shall not want (Psalm 23:1).
For the individual mentioned, we pray for a new job and support. Father, You know the desires of their heart, and we ask that You align them with Your will. Lead them to a workplace where they can thrive, where their gifts are used for Your glory, and where they find fulfillment in their labor. We also pray for their spiritual growth—that they would come to know You more deeply, to love You more fully, and to walk in the fullness of Your purpose for their life. May they be rooted and established in Your love (Ephesians 3:17).
For the co-worker who has lost both grandparents, we ask for Your comfort and peace to surround him and his family. Lord, You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We pray that You would be their strength in this time of grief, that You would wrap Your arms around them and remind them of the hope we have in Christ—even in death, we do not grieve as those who have no hope (1 Thessalonians 4:13). May they feel Your presence in tangible ways, and may this loss draw them closer to You.
Father, we also take a moment to examine our own hearts. In times of trial, it is easy to become anxious or to seek solutions outside of Your will. We repent of any doubt, fear, or reliance on our own strength. Help us to fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). Teach us to cast all our anxieties on You, because You care for us (1 Peter 5:7). Let this family and all those connected to this prayer be a testimony of Your faithfulness, Lord. May their trust in You grow deeper, their peace surpass all understanding, and their lives reflect Your glory.
We declare that this is not the end of their story. You are a God who restores, who redeems, and who rewards those who diligently seek You (Hebrews 11:6). We trust You to turn this situation around for good, for we know that in all things, You work for the good of those who love You (Romans 8:28). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them see Your hand at work in every detail.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
