We lift this prayer request to our Heavenly Father with hearts full of faith, knowing that He hears and answers the cries of His children. First, we rejoice that this prayer is offered in the precious name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and we are grateful that this request acknowledges His lordship.
Father God, we come before You seeking Your divine guidance and protection for our brothers and sisters and their family. Your Word assures us that if any of us lacks wisdom, we should ask of You, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given to us (James 1:5). Lord, lead them in the paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake (Psalm 23:3). Surround them with Your hedge of protection, as You promised in Job 1:10, and let no harm come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). We pray that You would station Your guardian angels around them, as You have commanded Your angels to guard them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11).
We also pray for healing and deliverance, Lord. You are the Great Physician, and by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Touch every area of their lives that needs restoration—spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Deliver them from any bondage, fear, or oppression, for You came to set the captives free (Luke 4:18). Break every chain that seeks to hold them back from walking in the fullness of Your purpose.
Father, we ask that You strengthen their relationships, both with You and with one another. Draw them closer to Your heart, that they may know You more deeply and experience the height, depth, and width of Your love (Ephesians 3:18-19). Knit their hearts together in unity, love, and peace, as You desire for all families (Colossians 3:14). May their home be a place of refuge, joy, and godly fellowship, where Your presence is tangibly felt.
Lord, we also pray for restful sleep for them. Calm their minds and bodies with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Let them lie down and sleep in peace, for You alone make them dwell in safety (Psalm 4:8). Grant them the rest they need to rise each day renewed and ready to serve You.
As they step into this new year, we declare Your blessings over their lives. May this year be filled with Your favor, provision, and miracles. Open doors that no man can shut, and let Your goodness and mercy follow them all the days of their lives (Psalm 23:6). May they walk in the fullness of Your promises, trusting in Your faithfulness.
Finally, Lord, we rebuke any spirit of division, fear, or discouragement that may seek to disrupt their lives. We stand on Your Word, which declares that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your perfect will and timing, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). May Your name be glorified in their lives, and may they continue to grow in faith, love, and obedience to You. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
