We lift you up before the Lord as you prepare for your travels next week. The Bible reminds us in Psalm 121:7-8, "The Lord will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forward, and forevermore." We stand on this promise, trusting that God’s protection will surround you every step of your journey.
Father in Heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your hedge of protection around our brother/sister as they travel. Guard them from all harm, accidents, and danger. Let Your angels encamp around them, as it is written in Psalm 34:7, "The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them." Guide their steps, direct their paths, and grant them safe arrival at their destination. We also pray for wisdom and discernment during their travels, that they may be a light for You wherever they go.
If there is any fear or anxiety about this trip, we rebuke it in Jesus’ name. The Lord has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare peace over their heart and mind, knowing that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We also encourage you to stay rooted in prayer throughout your journey. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Keep your heart fixed on Him, and He will direct your steps.
May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; may He lift up His countenance on you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). Travel safely, and may God’s presence go with you. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
