Prayer request

Beloved of All
I great you in the Mighty Name of God.. Please I need a prayer for my son, 😭😭🙏 he is alcohol addict in such a way he destroy things and at home. I don't know how can help him to stop alcohol 💔😭 Please pray for me..

We join you in lifting up your son before the Lord, knowing that our God is mighty to save and deliver from every stronghold. It is good that you have come to us in the name of God, but we must remind you that there is only one name by which we are saved, and that is the name of Jesus Christ. As Scripture declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). It is only through faith in Jesus that we have access to the Father and can receive His mercy and grace in our time of need.

The bondage of alcohol is a destructive force, and we see how it has brought turmoil into your home. Yet we serve a God who breaks chains and sets captives free. The apostle Paul reminds us, *"Don’t you know that you are God’s temple, and that God’s Spirit lives in you? If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is holy, which you are"* (1 Corinthians 3:16-17, WEB). Your son’s body is meant to be a temple of the Holy Spirit, not a vessel for destruction. This behavior is not only harmful to him but is also a sin against God, who calls us to live soberly and righteously.

We urge you to speak the truth in love to your son, calling him to repentance. Alcoholism is often a symptom of deeper spiritual brokenness, and true freedom comes only through surrender to Christ. *"Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you"* (James 4:7, WEB). Your son must turn from this sin and seek the Lord with all his heart. Encourage him to confess his struggles to trusted believers who can hold him accountable and walk with him in this battle. If he is not a believer, pray earnestly for his salvation, for *"if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new"* (2 Corinthians 5:17, WEB). Only Christ can give him the strength to overcome.

As for you, dear mother, do not lose heart. You are not powerless in this situation. *"The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective"* (James 5:16, WEB). Stand in the gap for your son, interceding for him daily. Fast and pray, seeking God’s face for his deliverance. Surround yourself with believers who will stand with you in this fight, for *"though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken"* (Ecclesiastes 4:12, WEB).

Let us pray together for your son and for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this mother and her son to You, knowing that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. Lord, we ask that You break the chains of alcohol addiction that have bound this young man. Convict his heart, Lord, of the destruction he is bringing upon himself and his family. Open his eyes to see the truth of his sin and his need for a Savior. Draw him to Yourself, Father, and let him find in You the strength to resist temptation and walk in freedom.

We rebuke the spirit of addiction in the name of Jesus. Satan, you have no authority here—this young man belongs to God, and we declare that he will be set free from this bondage. Lord, fill the void in his heart with Your love and peace. Surround him with godly influences who will encourage him and hold him accountable. Give him the courage to seek help, whether through counsel, support groups, or medical assistance, all while relying on Your power to sustain him.

Father, we also lift up this mother, who carries such a heavy burden. Strengthen her, Lord, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Give her wisdom to know how to help her son without enabling his sin. Let her words to him be seasoned with grace and truth, always pointing him to You. Surround her with Your comfort and the support of Your people, so she does not grow weary in doing good.

We ask for a miracle, Lord—a complete transformation in this young man’s life. Let this season of struggle become a testimony of Your power and grace. May he turn from his sin, embrace Your forgiveness, and walk in newness of life. And may this mother see the fruit of her prayers and trust in You.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your faithfulness and believe that You are working even now for the good of those who love You. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Stand firm in your faith, dear sister. Do not grow weary in praying for your son. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and He will not abandon you or your son. Keep pointing your son to Jesus, for He alone is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. If your son is not yet a believer, share the Gospel with him—tell him of God’s love and the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross for his sins. Remind him that repentance and faith in Christ are the only path to true freedom.

If you need further guidance or support, do not hesitate to reach out. We are here to stand with you in prayer and encouragement. May the Lord bless you and keep you as you trust in Him.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred honor of lifting your son—and you—before the throne of grace these past days. Our hearts have been burdened alongside yours, crying out to the Lord for deliverance, peace, and divine intervention in your son’s life. We know the pain of watching a loved one battle addiction feels overwhelming, and we’ve been praying earnestly for God to break the chains of alcohol that bind him, to soften his heart, and to bring conviction that leads to true repentance. We’ve also been asking the Lord to surround *you* with His strength, wisdom, and supernatural peace as you navigate this storm, trusting that He will equip you to love your son well while setting godly boundaries.

If the Lord has begun to move in your son’s life—whether through a moment of clarity, a step toward sobriety, or even a small shift in his spirit—we would love for you to share a praise report with us. Your testimony could encourage others who are walking a similar path. But if the battle still rages and the weight feels just as heavy, please don’t hesitate to post your request again. We are here to continue standing in the gap with you, believing that our God is mighty to save and that He hears the cries of His children. He is not done writing this story.

Let us also remind you, dear sister or brother, that you are not alone in this. The body of Christ is lifting you up, and we are trusting that the Lord will turn what the enemy meant for destruction into a testimony of His redemption. Keep seeking Him, keep praying, and keep holding onto the hope that our God specializes in the impossible. We love you and are here for you.

May the Lord fill your home with His presence, break every stronghold in your son’s life, and grant you the perseverance to keep trusting Him—one day at a time. We continue to pray in Jesus Name.
