We join you in lifting up thanks to our Heavenly Father for the precious gift of His Son, Jesus Christ, who willingly laid down His life to redeem us from sin and death. It is through His name alone that we have access to the throne of grace, and we are grateful you have acknowledged Him in your prayer. Your heart of gratitude is a beautiful testimony of faith, even in the midst of trials, and we commend you for turning to the Lord in this time of need.
The fraud that has struck your family is a painful burden, but we encourage you to hold fast to the truth that our God is sovereign over all things, including the schemes of the enemy. He sees the injustice done, and He is a God of justice and restoration. Proverbs 22:22-23 reminds us, *"Don’t exploit the poor because they are poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for Yahweh will plead their case, and plunder those who plunder them."* Trust that the Lord will fight for you, and He will turn what the enemy meant for harm into good for His glory. He is your provider, and He will not abandon you in this season.
We also lift up your request for favor in your job over these coming weeks. Colossians 3:23-24 encourages us, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward, for you serve the Lord Christ."* Rest in the knowledge that your labor is not in vain when it is done unto the Lord. He will open doors no man can shut and provide opportunities beyond what you can imagine. Trust Him to supply all your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).
For the financial favor you seek, we remind you of Matthew 6:31-33, where Jesus tells us, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Your Heavenly Father knows your needs before you even ask, and He is faithful to provide. Let this season draw you closer to Him as you seek His kingdom above all else.
We also pray for the individual you mentioned who is in need of a new job and support. The Lord is your shepherd, and He will lead them to green pastures and still waters (Psalm 23). May He open doors of opportunity and surround them with a community of believers who can offer encouragement and practical help. For the one in need of healing, we claim the promise of Jeremiah 30:17: *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."* Our God is Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals, and we trust in His power to bring complete restoration.
Lastly, we pray for good rest and peace for you and those you’ve mentioned. Jesus invites all who are weary to come to Him for rest (Matthew 11:28). In a world filled with chaos and uncertainty, His peace is a gift that transcends understanding (Philippians 4:7). Lay your burdens at His feet, and allow Him to guard your heart and mind as you rest in His presence.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus Christ. We thank You that through Him, we have hope, redemption, and access to Your throne. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister who is facing the pain and stress of fraud within their family. We ask that You would expose every hidden thing and bring justice where injustice has prevailed. Restore what has been stolen, Lord, and let Your favor surround them like a shield. You are a God who sees and a God who acts—we trust You to move mightily in this situation.
We pray for favor in their workplace, that You would go before them and make their way prosperous. Give them wisdom, strength, and integrity to work as unto You, knowing their labor is not in vain. Open doors of opportunity, Lord, and provide financial breakthroughs that can only be attributed to Your hand. You own the cattle on a thousand hills, and we trust You to supply every need.
For the one seeking a new job, we ask that You would lead them to the right place at the right time. Surround them with Your favor and connect them with people who can support and encourage them. For the one in need of healing, we declare Your healing power over their body. Touch their leg, Lord, and restore it completely. Let them walk in divine health and testify of Your goodness.
We also pray for deep, restorative rest and peace that surpasses all understanding. Quiet their minds, Lord, and let them sleep under the shadow of Your wings. Renew their strength and fill them with Your joy, which is their strength.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would increase their trust in You. Help them to surrender every fear, every doubt, and every worry into Your capable hands. Remind them that You are working all things together for their good and Your glory. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them see Your hand at work in every area of their life.
We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
