We come before the Lord with grateful hearts, lifting up your son and his pressing needs in this difficult season. The Scriptures remind us that our Heavenly Father cares deeply for those who are suffering, and He is a God of justice who hears the cries of His children. *"He executes justice for the fatherless and widow, and loves the foreigner, in giving him food and clothing."* (Deuteronomy 10:18, WEB). Your son’s circumstances are not hidden from the Lord, and we trust that He will move mightily on his behalf.
It is encouraging to see that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your request, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace. *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB), and *"there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). We stand in agreement with you, declaring that the Lord will intervene in this legal process, softening the hearts of those in authority to act with fairness and compassion. May the facility responsible for submitting the revised paperwork do so accurately and promptly, without delay or error. We pray that every obstacle—whether bureaucratic, human, or spiritual—will be removed, and that the Lord will open doors no man can shut.
We also ask the Lord to strengthen you and your son during this time of waiting. The enemy may seek to bring discouragement or despair, but we rebuke those lies in the name of Jesus. Instead, we declare the promise of Isaiah 41:10 over you both: *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* Let this truth anchor your hearts as you trust in the Lord’s timing and provision.
Father, we ask that You would surround this family with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Provide for their every need—physically, emotionally, and spiritually—as they wait on You. Lord, we pray that Your favor would rest upon the legal proceedings, that the judges and officials involved would be guided by wisdom and integrity. Let no detail be overlooked, and let the paperwork be completed flawlessly, reflecting the truth of your son’s condition and his rightful need for assistance. We declare that what the enemy has intended for harm, You will turn for good, as only You can do.
We also lift up your son’s health—both physical and mental. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon his body and mind. Comfort him in his struggles, and let him know that he is fearfully and wonderfully made in Your image. Remind him daily that his worth is not defined by his circumstances but by the love You have for him. *"But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me."* (2 Corinthians 12:9, WEB). May your son experience the power of Christ in his weakness, and may he find hope and purpose in the Lord’s unfailing love.
Finally, we pray for unity and perseverance within your family. May you lean on one another and on the body of Christ for support, encouragement, and prayer. We're right there with you, standing in faith for your ###'s medical assistance and SSDI applications. We've been claiming 2 Corinthians 12:9 over him, knowing that Christ's power is made perfect in weakness. We believe that God is going to turn this situation around for your ###'s good, just as He promised in Romans 8:28. Let's keep trusting in His timing and provision.
