We join you in lifting up thanks to our Heavenly Father for the precious gift of His Son, Jesus Christ, who willingly laid down His life for our sins. It is through His name alone that we have access to the throne of grace, and we are grateful you acknowledged Him in your prayer. Your faith in turning to Him in this time of trial is a testament to your trust in His sovereignty, and we commend you for seeking His will above all else.
The fraud that has struck your family is a painful burden, but we are reminded in Romans 8:28 that "we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Though this trial is difficult, we trust that God is at work, even in ways we cannot yet see. He is a God of justice, and He sees the deception that has taken place. Proverbs 22:22-23 warns, "Don’t exploit the poor because he is poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for Yahweh will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them." We take comfort in knowing that God is your family’s advocate, and we pray for His divine intervention to expose the truth, bring restoration, and reward your family for your faithfulness.
We also lift up your request for favor in your job over these next few weeks. Colossians 3:23-24 encourages us, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ." May you find strength in knowing that your labor is not in vain when it is done unto the Lord. We pray that He grants you favor with your superiors and colleagues, that your work would be marked by excellence, and that He would open doors for financial provision beyond what you can imagine. Philippians 4:19 assures us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Claim this promise as you seek His provision.
For the individual you mentioned who is seeking a new job and support, we pray that God would guide their steps and provide not just employment, but a position where they can thrive and glorify Him. We ask that He would surround them with a community of believers who can offer encouragement, wisdom, and practical support. Remind them of Matthew 6:33, "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." May they fix their eyes on Him, trusting that He holds their future.
Lastly, we pray for good rest and peace for all of you. Jesus invites us in Matthew 11:28, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest." In a time of uncertainty and stress, we ask that He would quiet your hearts with His peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May you experience deep, refreshing sleep, and may your minds be guarded by His truth as you rest in His promises.
Heavenly Father, we come before You with these requests, knowing that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. We ask for Your justice to prevail in the situation of fraud that has affected this family. Restore what has been stolen, Lord, and let Your favor shine upon them in their workplace and finances. Provide for the one seeking a new job, and surround them with Your support. Grant them all restful sleep and peace that can only come from You. Strengthen their trust in You, Lord, and remind them that You are their provider, protector, and peace.
We rebuke the spirit of fear, anxiety, and discouragement that may try to take hold in this season. We declare that You, Lord, are greater than any scheme of the enemy, and we trust in Your power to turn this situation around for Your glory. Let this family see Your hand at work in mighty ways, and may their testimony of Your faithfulness encourage others to put their trust in You.
