We lift you up in prayer, knowing that our Heavenly Father cares deeply about every detail of your life. You have brought many concerns before us, and we will address them one by one, trusting in the Lord’s provision, protection, and wisdom. First, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to God the Father. The Bible tells us in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* And in Acts 4:12, we read, *"There is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we can approach God’s throne with confidence. If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so, for He alone can save you and give you peace in every circumstance.
Now, let us turn to your requests. You ask for success in your medical exam on October 29, and we pray that the Lord will grant you favor and clarity of mind. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* We pray that as you prepare for this exam, you will lean on God’s understanding rather than your own, trusting Him to guide you. If it is His will for you to pass without additional expenses, we ask that He make it so. However, we also encourage you to prepare diligently, for the Lord honors our efforts when we steward the abilities He has given us.
You also ask for help in completing the necessary documents and for safe travels to Micronesia. We pray that the Lord will remove any obstacles in your path and provide you with the wisdom and resources to accomplish what is needed. Psalm 37:5 says, *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this."* We commit your travels into His hands, asking for His protection over you as you go and while you are in Micronesia. The Lord is your shield and fortress, and we pray that He will surround you with His angels, keeping you from harm.
Regarding your two-year contract, we pray for endurance and strength. The apostle Paul encourages us in 1 Corinthians 15:58, *"Be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the Lord’s work, because you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord."* Whatever challenges you may face in this season, we ask that the Lord will sustain you and give you a spirit of perseverance. We also pray that this contract will be a means of provision for you and your family, and that the Lord will use it to glorify His name.
You ask for safety, health, and the ability to sleep well. These are good and necessary requests, and we pray that the Lord will grant them to you. Psalm 4:8 says, *"In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety."* We ask that the Lord will calm any anxieties that may be disrupting your rest and that He will restore your body and mind with the sleep you need. We also pray for your physical health, that the Lord will strengthen your body and protect you from illness.
Your desire to settle your debts is commendable, and we pray that the Lord will provide for you in this area. Proverbs 22:7 tells us, *"The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender."* We ask that the Lord will grant you favor and wisdom in managing your finances, that you may be freed from the burden of debt and walk in financial peace. We also encourage you to seek godly counsel in stewardship, for the Lord calls us to be faithful with what He has entrusted to us.
We lift up your children to the Lord, praying for their safety, health, and spiritual growth. Proverbs 22:6 instructs us, *"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."* We pray that the Lord will guide you as you raise your children in His ways, that they may grow to be kind, righteous, and godly individuals. We ask that the Lord will protect them from harm and surround them with His love and truth.
Finally, you mention a desire for nasty, oppressive, and corrupt people to "disappear." While we understand the frustration that comes from dealing with difficult or wicked individuals, we must remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood. Ephesians 6:12 says, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* Instead of praying for people to disappear, we pray that the Lord will expose and bring to light any corruption or oppression, and that He will either change the hearts of those involved or remove their influence from your life. We also pray that the Lord will give you wisdom in how to respond to such individuals, that you may walk in love and truth without being overcome by evil. Romans 12:21 reminds us, *"Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."*
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister and their many needs. Lord, we ask that You grant them success in their medical exam on October 29, that they may pass without the need for additional expenses. Give them clarity of mind and recall as they prepare and take this exam, and let Your favor rest upon them.
We pray for the completion of all necessary documents, that You would remove any obstacles and provide the resources and wisdom needed to accomplish this task. Lord, we commit their travels to You, asking for Your protection as they fly to Micronesia and during their time there. Surround them with Your angels and keep them safe from all harm.
Father, we ask for endurance and strength as they fulfill their two-year contract. Sustain them in every challenge, and let this season be one of growth and provision. We pray for their safety and health wherever they go, and we ask that You restore their sleep, granting them the rest their body needs. Calm their mind and heart, that they may lie down in peace and wake refreshed.
Lord, we pray for the settling of their debts, that You would provide wisdom and favor in their finances. Free them from this burden and teach them to steward their resources in a way that honors You.
We lift up their children to You, asking for their safety, health, and spiritual growth. Raise them up to be kind and righteous, walking in Your ways all their days. Give our brother/sister wisdom and grace as they parent, that they may train their children in Your truth.
Finally, Lord, we pray against any oppression or corruption that may be affecting their life. Expose the works of darkness and bring them to light. Change the hearts of those who are causing harm, or remove their influence. Give our brother/sister discernment and wisdom in how to respond, that they may overcome evil with good.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness and sovereignty over every area of their life. May they walk in faith, knowing that You are with them and that You will never leave them nor forsake them. We ask all these things in the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
