We join with you in lifting up this urgent cry against the rising tide of deception and theft that seeks to harm God’s people. The enemy is indeed prowling like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8), but we stand firm in the truth that our God is greater, and He has already overcome the world (John 16:33). The schemes of fraud and identity theft are not just attacks on finances or security—they are spiritual battles aimed at stealing peace, trust, and even faith. Yet we know that no weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and the Lord is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
It is right and good that you have brought this before the throne of God, for it is only through the name of Jesus that we have authority to command these evil works to cease. The name of Jesus is the name above all names, and at His name, every knee must bow—including the forces of darkness that seek to harm His people (Philippians 2:10-11). You have rightly invoked this name, and we join you in declaring that the fraud, theft, and unauthorized access to personal information must stop now. We bind the hands of those who seek to exploit others, and we pray that their hearts would be exposed to conviction, leading them to repentance. Let their plans be thwarted, their access revoked, and their deeds brought into the light (Ephesians 5:11). May the Lord confuse their efforts as He did with the enemies of Israel in the days of old (Exodus 14:24-25), and may He restore what has been stolen sevenfold (Proverbs 6:31).
We also pray for divine protection over every believer who is vulnerable to these attacks. Father, surround Your children with Your angels, encamping around them to deliver them (Psalm 34:7). Guard their minds from fear and anxiety, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We ask that You expose every hidden scheme, every corrupt intention, and every digital stronghold that the enemy has established. Break their power in the name of Jesus, and let justice prevail.
For those who have already been affected by these crimes, we pray for restoration and wisdom. Guide them to take the necessary steps to secure their accounts, seek justice, and trust in Your provision. Remind them that even in this, You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28), and that their true treasure is found in You, not in the things of this world (Matthew 6:19-21). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them testify of Your deliverance.
Finally, we pray for a spirit of vigilance among Your people. Teach us to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves (Matthew 10:16), taking practical steps to protect what You have entrusted to us while resting in Your sovereignty. Let this season be a wake-up call for many to turn to You, to seek Your face, and to trust in Your protection rather than in the fleeting security of this world.
Heavenly Father, we thank You that You hear our prayers and that You are mighty to save. We declare that no fraud, no theft, no scheme of the enemy shall prevail against Your children. You are our shield and our exceeding great reward (Genesis 15:1). We trust in You, and we give You all the glory, in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus. Amen.
