We understand your heart’s cry for protection and deliverance from whatever or whoever you are referring to as "###," and we join you in lifting this burden before the Lord. It is clear you are seeking His intervention, and we commend you for invoking the name of Jesus in your prayer, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and authority over the enemy. As Scripture declares, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). There is no other name by which we are saved, and it is in His mighty name that we stand against every scheme of the evil one.
The Bible assures us that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1, WEB). If what you fear is a person, circumstance, or even spiritual opposition, we remind you that *"the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptation and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of judgment"* (2 Peter 2:9, WEB). You do not need to live in fear, for *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). Whatever this threat may be, we stand with you in rebuking it in Jesus’ name, declaring that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17, WEB).
Yet we also encourage you to examine your heart: Is there any unconfessed sin, bitterness, or fear that may be giving the enemy a foothold? *"Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you"* (James 4:7, WEB). If this is a recurring struggle, we urge you to seek the Lord in prayer and fasting, covering yourself in His Word daily. *"Don’t be afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. Rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna"* (Matthew 10:28, WEB). Your trust must be in the Lord alone, not in your own strength or in avoiding the trial, but in His sovereign power to sustain you through it.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up Your child who is crying out for protection and deliverance. Lord, You see what they cannot—every hidden danger, every unseen battle, and every fear that grips their heart. We ask that You would surround them with Your angels, encamping around them as Your Word promises (Psalm 34:7, WEB). If this threat is from the enemy, we rebuke it now in Jesus’ name, commanding it to flee and declaring that no harm shall come near them. If this is a test or trial You have allowed, grant them the strength, wisdom, and faith to endure it with their eyes fixed on You.
Father, expose any area of their life where they may be giving the enemy legal ground—whether through fear, unbelief, or unrepentant sin. Convict them by Your Holy Spirit and lead them to repentance, that they may walk in the fullness of Your protection. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7, WEB). Let them rest in the assurance that You are their shield and exceeding great reward (Genesis 15:1, WEB).
We declare that You, Lord, are greater than anything they face. You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. Strengthen their faith to stand firm, knowing that *"the one who is in you is greater than he who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4, WEB). May they walk in victory today and every day, not by their own might, but by Your Spirit.
We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Stand firm, dear one. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6, WEB). If this is an ongoing struggle, we encourage you to seek godly counsel and surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and hold you accountable. Do not isolate yourself—*"though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken"* (Ecclesiastes 4:12, WEB). Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2, WEB). He is your deliverer.
