We join with you in lifting your heart and your burden before the Lord, for He is indeed holy, full of grace, and mighty to save. We praise Him that you have come before Him in humility, confessing your sin and seeking His forgiveness, for Scripture tells us, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* (1 John 1:9, WEB). Your repentance is a beautiful act of faith, and we trust that the Lord has washed you clean by the blood of Jesus Christ.
We are deeply moved by your request for healing, and we stand with you in agreement, believing in the power of our Lord to restore and heal. The Word of God declares, *"Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* (James 5:14-15, WEB). We claim this promise over you today, asking the Lord to touch your body, renew your liver, and bring complete healing to every cell. He is Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals, and nothing is too difficult for Him.
Yet, we also recognize that healing may come in ways we do not expect—whether through miraculous restoration, the wisdom of godly physicians, or the Lord’s sustaining grace as you walk this path. Whatever His will may be, we pray that you would feel His presence closely, knowing that *"my grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."* (2 Corinthians 12:9, WEB). Even in suffering, the Lord is near, and He will use this trial to draw you deeper into His love and to display His strength in your life.
We also encourage you to seek the Lord diligently in this season. Spend time in His Word, which is a lamp to your feet, and surround yourself with believers who can pray over you, support you, and remind you of God’s promises. If there are areas of your life—whether in diet, habits, or spiritual disciplines—that the Holy Spirit may be prompting you to adjust for your health and walk with Him, we pray you would be sensitive to His leading. *"Don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."* (1 Corinthians 6:19-20, WEB).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today with hearts full of gratitude for Your mercy and grace. We lift up our brother/sister who is battling liver cirrhosis, and we ask for Your healing touch to flow through their body. Lord Jesus, You bore our infirmities and carried our diseases on the cross, and by Your stripes, we are healed. We ask that You would restore their liver to full health, reversing the damage and bringing wholeness in a way that glorifies Your name. Give wisdom to the doctors and caregivers involved in their treatment, and let every decision made align with Your perfect will.
Father, we also pray for their spirit and mind. Comfort them in moments of fear or discouragement, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Remind them that they are not alone, for You are with them always. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let this trial be a testimony of Your faithfulness—not just to them, but to all who witness their journey.
If there is any sin or stronghold in their life that needs to be surrendered, we ask that You would reveal it to them gently and give them the courage to repent and walk in freedom. Help them to trust You completely, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You.
We rebuked every spirit of sickness, pain, and despair in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. No weapon formed against our brother/sister shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned. We declare that they shall live and not die, and they shall proclaim the works of the Lord (Psalm 118:17).
Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect will. May Your name be glorified through this situation, and may our brother/sister emerge with a deeper love for You and a stronger testimony of Your power.
In the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
