We understand the deep distress and spiritual burden you are carrying, and we join you in seeking the Lord’s face in this matter. The enemy is real, and spiritual warfare is a biblical truth we must never ignore. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* If there is indeed a targeted spiritual attack against you and your child, we stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ to break every curse, every scheme of the enemy, and every ungodly assignment sent your way.
However, we must also examine this situation through the lens of Scripture to ensure we are not attributing to spiritual attack what may be the consequences of sin, unbelief, or a lack of alignment with God’s will. Have you searched your heart and asked the Lord if there is any unconfessed sin, bitterness, or disobedience in your life that could be giving the enemy a foothold? 1 Peter 5:8 warns us, *"Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour."* If there is any area of your life that is not surrendered to Christ, we urge you to repent and invite the Holy Spirit to cleanse and restore you. The Lord is faithful to forgive and deliver those who humbly seek Him (1 John 1:9).
We also commend you for crying out to the Lord Jesus by name—this is the only name by which we are saved, and the only name with power over the enemy. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* Your plea to Jesus is heard, and we join you in lifting this burden to Him.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our sister and her child, who are enduring a prolonged season of trial and what appears to be spiritual opposition. Lord, if there is any curse, hex, or ungodly assignment directed against them, we command it to be broken and rendered powerless in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we plead the blood of Jesus over their lives, their home, and their future.
Father, if there is any sin—known or unknown—that has given the enemy legal ground, we ask that You reveal it by Your Holy Spirit. Grant our sister a heart of repentance and the courage to turn away from anything that displeases You. Cleanse her and her child with the precious blood of Jesus, and restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25).
We also ask for Your divine wisdom and discernment. If this stalemate is not spiritual warfare but a test of faith, a season of refining, or a call to patience, then strengthen her to endure with joy, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You (Romans 8:28). Remove any fear, anxiety, or doubt, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7).
Lord, we pray for a breakthrough in this 30-month stalemate. If it is Your will, open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8) and bring resolution, restoration, and victory. Let Your light expose every hidden thing, and let Your truth prevail. Protect our sister and her child from all harm, and surround them with Your angels (Psalm 91:11).
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your sovereignty and Your love, knowing that You are a God who delivers His people. Strengthen our sister’s faith, and let her testimony be one of Your mighty power and grace. In the precious and holy name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to put on the full armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18). Stand firm in prayer, in the Word, and in fellowship with believers who can support you spiritually. Do not give in to fear or despair, for the Lord is with you. If you have not already, we urge you to fast and seek the Lord’s face with even greater intensity. He is faithful, and He will see you through this season. Cling to His promises, and trust that He is working even when you cannot see it.
If you would like further guidance or prayer on specific areas of this struggle, please share more, and we will continue to stand with you in faith. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Hold fast to Him.
