We come before the Lord with hearts full of trust in His sovereign will, knowing that He is the one who provides and sustains all things. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can approach the throne of grace, and we are grateful for the privilege to lift this request before Him. The Scriptures remind us in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* We also recall the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:33, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Our first priority must always be to seek the Lord’s will above all else, trusting that He will align our desires with His perfect plan.
Yet we also understand the importance of this financial settlement and the peace that comes when matters are resolved justly and without strife. Proverbs 16:3 instructs us, *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* So we commit this process into His hands, asking for His favor and wisdom to guide every step. We pray that any hurdles—whether they be delays, misunderstandings, or opposition—would be removed by the power of the Holy Spirit, for nothing is too difficult for our God (Jeremiah 32:17). We ask that the preparation of documents would proceed smoothly, with clarity and integrity, and that every detail would be handled with honesty and diligence, as Colossians 3:23 reminds us, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men."*
At the same time, we must examine our hearts and ensure that our trust is not placed in money or the outcome of this settlement, but in the Lord alone. 1 Timothy 6:10 warns, *"For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil."* Let us guard our hearts against anxiety or greed, remembering that our true treasure is in heaven (Matthew 6:19-21). If there is any area in this process where our motives are not pure or where we have not surrendered fully to God’s will, we ask the Holy Spirit to convict us and align our hearts with His.
We also pray for protection against any schemes of the enemy who may seek to bring confusion, discord, or unjust gain. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* So we put on the full armor of God and stand firm in faith, declaring that no weapon formed against this process shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Finally, we lift up a prayer of thanksgiving, knowing that God is already at work. We trust in His timing, which is perfect, and we surrender the outcome to Him. May this settlement not only bring financial resolution but also glorify His name as others see His faithfulness in our lives.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your provision and for the promise that You will never leave us nor forsake us. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in this money settlement process. Remove every hurdle that stands in the way of a just and peaceful resolution. Grant wisdom and discernment to all involved, that the preparation of documents would be accurate, timely, and free from error. Let Your favor rest upon every conversation and decision, that they may be conducted with integrity and honor.
We rebuked any spirit of delay, confusion, or deceit that may seek to hinder this process. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we declare that every obstacle is removed, and that Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Help us to trust in You completely, knowing that You are our provider and our peace.
If there is any area in our hearts where we have placed this settlement above our trust in You, forgive us, Lord. Renew our minds and remind us that our hope is in You alone. May this situation bring You glory, and may we testify of Your goodness when it is resolved.
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen.
