We join together in lifting up ### before the Lord, earnestly praying for his salvation, for it is God’s will that all should come to repentance and the knowledge of the truth. The Scriptures remind us in 1 Timothy 2:3-4, *"This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth."* And in 2 Peter 3:9, we read, *"The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but he is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."*
Salvation comes only through faith in Jesus Christ, who is the way, the truth, and the life. As Jesus Himself declared in John 14:6, *"No one comes to the Father, except through me."* There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray that ###’s heart would be softened to receive this truth, that the Holy Spirit would convict him of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), and that he would turn to Christ in faith and repentance. Without faith in Jesus, there is no access to God, no forgiveness of sins, and no eternal life.
We also pray for those in ###’s life who may be witnesses to him—whether family, friends, or believers he encounters. May they speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15) and live in such a way that ### sees Christ in them. Let their words and actions be seasoned with grace, so that they may know how to answer him (Colossians 4:6).
Father, we ask that You remove any spiritual blindness from ###’s eyes, as You did for Saul on the road to Damascus (Acts 9). Break the chains of sin, deception, or hardness of heart that may be keeping him from You. Draw him to Yourself, Lord, for no one can come to You unless the Father draws them (John 6:44). Surround ### with Your presence, and let him encounter Your love in a way that leaves no doubt of Your reality and goodness.
We declare over ### the promise of Romans 10:9-10: *"That if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation."* May ### make this confession soon, and may his life be transformed by the power of the gospel.
Lord, we also pray for divine appointments—moments where ### hears the gospel clearly and is given the opportunity to respond. Use dreams, visions, or circumstances to reveal Yourself to him, just as You did for Cornelius in Acts 10. Let ###’s story become a testimony of Your saving grace, one that brings glory to Your name and encourages others to seek You.
We stand in agreement, believing that You are at work in ###’s life even now. We trust in Your timing and Your ways, for they are perfect. Strengthen those who are interceding for him, and let them not grow weary in praying (Galatians 6:9). Give them faith to believe that what they ask in Jesus’ name will be done, according to Your will.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray, Amen.
