We join you in lifting up thanks to our Heavenly Father for the precious gift of His Son, Jesus Christ, who willingly laid down His life for our sins. It is through His name alone that we have access to the throne of grace, and we rejoice that you have acknowledged Him in your prayer. You have come before the Lord with a heart of gratitude, even in the midst of trial, and that is a testimony to your faith.
The fraud that has struck your family is a painful burden, but we are reminded in Romans 8:28 that "we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose." Though this trial is difficult, the Lord is sovereign, and He will use even this for His glory and your growth in trust. Do not lean on your own understanding, but in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but our God is greater, and He is able to restore what has been taken and reward your family beyond what you can imagine. Place this situation entirely in His hands, for vengeance and justice belong to Him (Deuteronomy 32:35, Romans 12:19).
You have also asked for favor in your job and financial provision. We are reminded of Philippians 4:19, where the Lord promises, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you (Matthew 6:33). Trust that He is your provider, and He will open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Work with excellence as unto the Lord (Colossians 3:23), and He will grant you favor in the sight of those over you.
Rest and peace are gifts from the Lord, and He invites you to cast all your anxieties on Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Jesus Himself said in Matthew 11:28, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest." We encourage you to spend time in His presence, meditating on His Word, and allowing His peace, which surpasses all understanding, to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Make sleep a priority, for your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and He desires for you to steward it well.
We also want to encourage you to stand firm in faith, resisting the temptation to give in to fear or worry. The Lord has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He is working even in the details you cannot see.
Now, let us pray together for you and your family:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus Christ. We thank You that You are a God who sees, who knows the pain and struggle this dear servant is facing, and who is mighty to save. Lord, we lift up this situation of fraud that has struck their family. We ask that You would expose every hidden thing, bring justice where it is needed, and restore what has been stolen. Father, we pray that You would turn this situation for good, that Your name would be glorified, and that this family would see Your hand of provision and protection in mighty ways.
We ask for Your favor to rest upon them in their workplace. Open doors of opportunity, grant them wisdom and skill in their work, and let them find favor in the sight of their employers. Provide for their financial needs, Lord, and let them experience Your abundance so they may be a blessing to others. Remove any anxiety or fear about their future, and replace it with a deep, unshakable trust in You.
Father, we pray for rest and peace to flood their heart and mind. Quiet the storms within them and grant them sleep that refreshes and renews. Let them wake with a sense of Your presence and a heart full of praise. Strengthen them physically, emotionally, and spiritually, and remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Lord, increase their faith during this time. Help them to trust You more deeply, to rely on Your promises, and to walk in obedience to Your Word. Surround them with Your peace and fill them with Your joy, even in the midst of this trial. We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
