We understand that there are times when the burdens of our hearts are too deep or personal to put into words, yet we are called to cast all our cares upon the Lord, for He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7). While we respect the sensitivity of an unspoken request, we also know that God already knows the deepest thoughts and needs of each heart before a word is even formed (Psalm 139:4). It is through the name of Jesus Christ that we boldly approach the throne of grace, finding mercy and help in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16). We notice that the name of Jesus was not invoked in this request, and we gently remind you that there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we pray with confidence.
Let us also encourage you to bring your requests before the Lord openly, for when we confess our struggles and lay our burdens before Him, we invite His healing and deliverance into our lives. James 5:16 tells us, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."
