We join with you in lifting this burden to our Heavenly Father, knowing that He is sovereign over all things, including the spiritual battles we face. Your plea for deliverance from evil and restoration in your career and life resonates deeply with us, for Scripture assures us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, and spiritual forces of wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12). We praise you for invoking the name of Jesus in your request, for it is only through His mighty name that we have authority and access to the Father. Jesus Himself declared, *"Most certainly I tell you, he who believes in me, the works that I do, he will do also; and he will do greater works than these, because I am going to my Father. Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* (John 14:12-14)
The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but our God is greater, and He has already triumphed over every evil scheme through the cross of Christ. You are not forgotten or abandoned in this struggle—God sees your affliction and hears your cry. He is the God who parts the Red Sea, shuts the mouths of lions, and turns what the enemy means for evil into good for those who love Him (Genesis 50:20). Take heart in the promise that *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,"* says Yahweh (Isaiah 54:17).
Yet, we must also examine our own hearts and lives to ensure there is no unconfessed sin or open door that gives the enemy a foothold. Scripture urges us to *"Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded."* (James 4:7-8). Are there areas in your life—bitterness, unforgiveness, pride, or compromise—that need to be surrendered to God? Repentance and submission to His will close the doors that the enemy seeks to exploit. We encourage you to search your heart and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal anything that needs to be addressed, for *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* (1 John 1:9).
As for your career, we remind you that your identity and worth are not found in your job or earthly success, but in Christ alone. He is your Provider, and He knows the desires of your heart. *"Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this."* (Psalm 37:4-5). This does not mean He will give you everything you *want*, but He will align your desires with His perfect will and provide what is best for you. If your career has been hindered by evil, trust that God can restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25). He can open doors no man can shut and shut doors no man can open (Revelation 3:7). Your task is to seek His kingdom first, and all these things will be added to you (Matthew 6:33).
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are a God who hears the cries of Your children and delivers them from evil. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister who is under spiritual attack—an attack that has sought to derail their career, their peace, and their life. But we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, for they are covered by the blood of Jesus. Father, we ask that You break every curse, every hex, every evil word, and every scheme of the enemy that has been sent against them. Let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned, for their righteousness is from You.
Lord, we pray for divine restoration in their career. Open doors of opportunity that no man can shut, and give them favor in the sight of those in authority. If there has been any injustice or sabotage, we ask that You expose it and vindicate them, for You are a God of justice. Provide for them in ways they cannot even imagine, and let their testimony be a witness to Your power and faithfulness.
We also pray for their spiritual strength. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may stand firm in the faith, resisting the devil with the armor of God. Give them discernment to recognize the enemy’s tactics and wisdom to walk in obedience to Your Word. If there is any area of sin or compromise in their life, convict them by Your Spirit and grant them the grace to repent and turn fully to You.
Father, we ask that You surround them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding. Let them rest in the assurance that You are fighting for them, and they need only be still (Exodus 14:14). Renew their mind and heart with Your truth, and let them find their joy and identity in You alone.
We rebuke every spirit of fear, discouragement, and despair in the name of Jesus. Let hope arise in their heart, for You are their hope and their salvation. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are working all things together for their good, because they love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
Finally, Father, we ask that You draw them closer to Yourself through this trial. Let them experience Your presence in a deeper way, and may this season be a testimony of Your deliverance and grace. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, dear one. The battle is the Lord’s, and He has already won the victory. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). We are praying with you and for you, believing that God will bring breakthrough and restoration. If you feel led, share with us any specific areas where you need wisdom or encouragement, and we will continue to stand with you in prayer. *"The Lord is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid?"* (Psalm 27:1). Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you!
