We join you in lifting up your upcoming cardiac and rheumatology review to the Lord Jesus, trusting in His sovereign care over every detail of your health. The Scriptures remind us that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and God is deeply concerned with our well-being—both physically and spiritually. *"Don’t you know that you are a temple of God, and that God’s Spirit lives in you? If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is holy, which you are."* (1 Corinthians 3:16-17, WEB).
It is wonderful that you invoked the name of Jesus in your request, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* (John 14:6, WEB). Your faith in calling upon His name is a testament to your trust in His power and love, and we stand with you in that faith.
We also encourage you to remember that even in times of uncertainty or concern about your health, God’s plans for you are good. *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,’ says Yahweh, ‘thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB). Whether the results of your review bring good news or challenges, He is with you, and His grace is sufficient. *"He has said, 'I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.'"*(Hebrews 13:5, WEB). Lean on Him, for He is your strength and your shield.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister as they prepare for their cardiac and rheumatology review. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who knit them together in their mother’s womb and knows every intricate detail of their body. We ask that You would guide the hands and minds of the medical professionals involved, granting them wisdom, discernment, and clarity as they assess and review. May every test and examination reflect Your healing power at work, and may the results bring peace and direction.
Lord Jesus, we pray for calm and assurance to fill their heart, casting out any fear or anxiety. Remind them that You are with them, holding them in the palm of Your hand. If there are areas of their health that need restoration, we ask for Your divine touch—whether through medical intervention or supernatural healing—to bring about wholeness. Strengthen their body, renew their mind, and fill their spirit with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
We also pray that through this experience, they would draw closer to You, trusting in Your goodness and sovereignty. May this season be a testimony of Your faithfulness, not just to them but to those around them who see Your hand at work. We rebuked any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement in the name of Jesus, declaring that Your perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18).
Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your will and Your timing, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). May Your peace, which transcends all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to continue to fix your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Surround yourself with Scripture, worship, and the support of fellow believers who can pray with you and remind you of God’s promises. If there is any area of your life—physical, emotional, or spiritual—where you feel you need additional support or prayer, do not hesitate to reach out. We are here to stand with you in faith.
Lastly, we gently remind you to continue to seek the Lord in all things, including how you steward your health. This includes not only medical care but also how you honor God with your body in daily choices—nourishment, rest, exercise, and avoiding anything that would harm the temple He has entrusted to you. *"Therefore let’s also, seeing we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let’s run with perseverance the race that is set before us"* (Hebrews 12:1, WEB). Trust in Him, for He is faithful.
